  1. Hi, Hope you've managed to solve your install problems however, I may have a possible fix in case you haven't. I used to have exactly the same issue as you and, like yourself, I had everything disabled on my PC, but any Carenado aircraft that required online activation would still not install. It turned out the problem was an internal firewall on my broadband account, one of those "parental controls" things. Try logging into your broadband account and look for parental controls or similar. Turn that off completely and it should cure the problem. Hopefully. Cheers, Sam
  2. Apologies if I've posted this in the wrong place... I have both versions of Carenado's Caravan. The original model plus CargoMaster expansion seems to run perfectly fine, whereas the EX HD version doesn't. Whenever I load the EX HD Caravan into FSX, within a few minutes (3-5 minutes at the most) the sound freezes, Win 7 crashes and I get a blue screen. Every single time. This does not occur with any other installed add-on aircraft, only with the C-208 EX HD. My FSX PC is brand new, and seems powerful enough that it shouldn't be the issue - Win 7 Pro (64 bit), 8GB RAM, GTX 770 (2GB RAM), Intel® Core i7-4790K CPU @ 4.00GHz (NO OC), 1TB HDD. UAC off. FSX Gold with Acceleration (installed) . Active internet connection, FSUIPC installed. Orbx FTX Global and FTX England. I'm very new to FSX, so I'm presuming it's a case of operator error and that I'm doing something wrong, though I have followed the instructions in the Recommended Settings document that came with the aircraft. Any assistance you could give would be much appreciated, and just in case any of you are Win 7 gurus (this means nothing to me!), here's what the after effects of one of my blue screens look like: Problem signature: Problem Event Name: BlueScreen OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.48 Locale ID: 2057 Additional information about the problem: BCCode: 101 BCP1: 0000000000000019 BCP2: 0000000000000000 BCP3: FFFFF88003365180 BCP4: 0000000000000002 OS Version: 6_1_7601 Service Pack: 1_0 Product: 256_1 Files that help describe the problem: C:\Windows\Minidump\011315-17565-01.dmp C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-26223-0.sysdata.xml Read our privacy statement online: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=104288&clcid=0x0409 If the online privacy statement is not available, please read our privacy statement offline: C:\Windows\system32\en-US\erofflps.txt Regards, Sam (UK) .
