  1. castarr's post in FSX-Steam Users "Are you enjoying the performance?" was marked as the answer
Great comments and tips...and you all reaffirmed..that my current system..may need upgrading..and I agree..the 3.3ghz I have runs the FSX Deluxe\Acceleration version fairly well..(always could be better)
..it's the FSX-SE that I was hoping to get at least the same..one item that DaveCT2003 mentioned were the FSX-SE graphics settings...I attempted to mock...the FSX Deluxe\Acceleration
with same settings..but may have asked my PC too much to try and duplicate...I could lower those and see what it does...BUT...i need to start to pick up those "aluminum cans" on the side of the road
to go into my NEW PC FUND...(grinning a bit).

Thanks for the upfront tips...I'm hoping to try FSX-SE again...and Prepar3D also looks like a "Neato Mosquito!' but that's later...

    Respectfully,
    Chris

EUREKA!!!!!!  Happy Dancing! FX Accelerator..back in business...(reactivated serial number etc..and is working just fine)

    NO UNHANDLED EXCEPTION appeared...!
I hunted and hunted..and located the culprit..in the Registry Keys...as you suggested..i overlooked it probably..10 times...until it was caught...
I just renamed the AppPath to Apppathback..too scared to delete...LOL....

So grateful...for the expertise..and help...makes this old simmer...ready to fly! and enjoy it even more!
Could not make it without ya! (well...at least in simworld...

    So thankful,
    Sincerely,
    Chris
  4. castarr's post in Project Airbus Models Help me remember..I'm old! was marked as the answer
Well..I knew my problem resolve was staring right at me!!!!!

I set the N1 settings manually..on my default 737-800 panel to rev up those engines..to get it to down the runway...

My normal "easy" flying..i just used the joysticks throttle lever to adjust speeds..thinking that's how these Project Airbus's would work...they were too slow..
but setting N1 to around 90...i have no issue now...

    thanks for helping charliearon..and hamoody!

Until i can't figure something out again...
    see in the forum!
    respectfully,
    Chris
  5. castarr's post in FSDT KLAX (AI Aircraft) Has a fix been found? was marked as the answer
I used the ADE to place hold short node (red dot) at all the runways of FSDT KLAX...tested the scenery....all ai flights and my own aircraft i was flying were cleared for takeoff...!!

    "Whew"!!! nice work-around"...

I'll keep looking at it...to see if any other issues pop-up...but for now..this post is  answered

    Thank you, Dave!

    Regards,
    Chris
  6. castarr's post in OMDB or OMAA=fatal error pop-up was marked as the answer
Just a quick update, re-entered the aircraft into FSX that I usually fly...and reserved all of my others to perhaps a later time...

I tested the scenery OMAA and OMDB and was able to originate a flight without the "fatal error-pop up"

thanks to all who responded..and I tweaked my fsx.cfg..also..to aide in optimizing..the performance of FSX.

    Until another issue..(if any) :-)
    many thanks
    Chris
