Yesterday, July 30, I launched the sim intending to do a little flying. After launching the sim I came back to the computer ten minutes later and found that it still had not finished loading as one of the "splash" pages was still showing on the screen, so I left it to finish. When I returned 15 minutes later nothing had changed, same "splash" screen, still appears to be loading. I decided to shut down the program via the Task Manager manually as the whole process seemed to be frozen. Later in the day I heard about the problems Microsoft/Azure were having. Later in the evening after reading that some of the problems had been resolved, I tried to activate the sim again. Everything seemed to start up okay and I used the "safe mode" as I had manually shut it down earlier. As others have reported, everything seemed to be going okay and it appeared to be loading, then halfway through the loading it crashed and I was back at my computer home screen. I tried it again a couple of times in the evening both "safe mode" and "normal mode" but the result was the same, crashes during the loading process. I have tried a couple of times today July 31, and nothing has improved, still the same, even though I've heard that the network problems yesterday have mostly been corrected. I don't have any 3rd party scenery or airports loaded but do have a few 3rd party aircraft. This is the first big problem I have had with sim since I got it in 2020. it was working fine up until July 30. Any ideas would be welcome.
