  1. I am doing a custom livery for the Hotstart TBM900. It is almost complete however there is one spot I cannot locate in the PNG files that comprise the exterior appearance of this aircraft. On the starboard side of the fuselage, in a panel where the wing connects to the main fuselage there is a small semi-rectangular door with a metal pushbutton. Above the buttom is a tan label that reads "Oxygen Service Point - Use No Lubricants". I have recolored the surrounding oval body panel and would like to color this door to match. A simple task... if you can find the PNG file that makes this door. I cannot. I suspect it is found somewhere within the Aircraft/objects folder which contains dozens of png files. I have looked through them all but cannot find this particular object. If anyone knows which file contains this I can isolate the specific area by trial and error. Just knowing the correct png file would help a lot. Thanks for any assistance finding this object file. —SHaines Note... I wanted to attach a SS of this spot on the TBM900 but this site will not allow me to do so. I tried both Dropbox and Google Drive but the URLs ere rejected. Sorry.
  2. Does anyone know where the GPU Door is on the TBM900 v1.1.13 and how to close it? Thanks. —SH
  3. I posted this note on another page in this Forum but see it only pertains to FSX|P3D so I am reposting it here hoping the XPlane community might see it... I recently upgraded my operating system to Mac OS 10.15.6. I am using XPlane 11.41. I tried loading my Cessna CT210M v1.1 and it immediately crashed XPlane. I checked the log file and it said: --=={This application has crashed because of the plugin: SASL3_Tbient/64/mac.xpl}==-- I first suspected the Mac Security & Privacy Gateway settings might be the issue but ruled that out after verifying it was not indicating anything. I even disabled it with a script to no avail. I tried removing the SASL3_TBIENT folder from the aircraft plugins folder and was able to load the aircraft. However the "pilot" figure occupies the cockpit indicating that the product has not been properly activated. There are other visual clues indicating that the aircraft is inoperable. So something within this required folder is causing XPlane to crash within .5 seconds of hitting the start button. I have been happily flying the C210 since 12/2018 when I purchased it from the XPlane Store. Under OS 10.15.6 Catalina I am no longer able to use the product. I have been in contact with Carenado about this issue but they refuse to assist because I purchased the aircraft using redemption points from the XPlane Store. Go figure. Note: I see no way to post my log file here so I will add the last section of it pertaining to the XP crash if that will assist... 0:00:23.215 I/ACF: Loading airplane number 0 with Aircraft/My Aircraft/General/Carenado CT210M_Centurion_II_v1.1/Car_Centurion.acf G64: 24.007: Aircraft File: (Aircraft/My Aircraft/General/Carenado CT210M_Centurion_II_v1.1/Car_Centurion.acf) G64: 24.009: MD5 Hash: (de78a7b57e0e18d9e92b476ce9a120ea) G64: 24.009: Description: (T210M Centurion II for X-Plane 11) G64: 24.009: Author: (Carenado) G64: 24.009: Plugin Mode: Community Edition G64: 24.010: Boot Count: 2 G64: 24.653: Run: OnKickStart.. Removing this file allows me to load the aircraft but it is disabled as described. Leaving it in place causes XPlane to crash. At this point I can go no further with this aircraft, which I enjoy greatly. If anyone has a clue what is going on here and how to fix it I would be most grateful. —Steve Haines
  4. To follow up my note above... I did an elimination test of the SASL3_Tbient folder and determined that the culprit file is: /Users/Steve/Desktop/X-PLANE 11/Aircraft/My Aircraft/General/Carenado CT210M_Centurion_II_v1.1/plugins/SASL3_Tbient/data/modules/configuration/configuration.ini With this file present XPlane crashes instantly. With it removed the airplane loads but is disabled. So at this point it appears I am looking for a fix for this one file, if not others related to it. —SH

  6. I want to follow up my earlier note by saying I was able to exchange notes with skiselkov who cured the problem and published a new version (a.15) in less than three hours. I am very impressed with that quick response and with the product he has developed. If you're on a Mac be sure to download this new/updated version. It works perfectly with no app crashes or other issues. Best pushback utility for XP11 by far!
  7. I just discovered BetterPushback and it is absolutely THE BEST pushback utility I have ever seen among the six or so I have tried. The detailing is superb, the voice communications are sharp and clear and the graphic interface works. That's the good news. The bad news is it causes XP11 to crash. Strangely, it does this after the push process is completed and the tractor is gone. I have tried this with the x737-700, x737-800 and the JAR A320NEO and in each instance the pusher works flawlessly until the operator announces disconnect and wishes me a good flight (very nice). I then look around the cockpit, do a final instrument check, release the park brakes and start to taxi and the application crashes. Sometimes I don't even get that far. In some cases the log file says the crash "was caused by the plugin XPLM" (this is what XP uses to track plugin use) and in other instances it gives no cause at all. In no instance does it say the cause is BetterPushback. But all attempts to use this device produce the same result while removing this plugin solves the problem. The one test I have not done is to try removing all discretionary plugins but BP to see if it may be a conflict with something previously installed. All this is on a high-end Imac with tons of VRAM, etc. If the developer see this and has any suggestions I am all ears as I like this plugin very much and want to use it.
