  1. I'm currently looking at possibly upgrading my RAM from 32gb to 64gb and speed from 2666mhz to 3600mhz (around £110 on Amazon currently) I'm running an I9-10900k with an RTX 3090 on an ASUS ROG STRIX Z-490-E Gaming motherboard. System is around 4 years old now. MSFS2020 performs pretty well, settings are high to Ultra pushing FPS to 40 to 60 with Frame Generation in 4K. I know this isn't the latest hardware, but don't really want to go for a full replacement PC just yet. I figured a RAM upgrade may just give me a little boost for a smallish price. My questions is, what kind of improvements (if any) could I possibly see? Is it even worth upgrading? Any thoughts are appreciated. Darren
  2. Thats, Ok! Took me a while to find that piece of info out!
  3. No I believe it is only 19 feet above sea level. I did read somewhere that if Vector doesnt find a potential conflict, it wont include it in the lists.
  4. Spot on, it doesnt appear anywhere in either list. I have tried searching through the list one by one and also by using the search bar at the top of the list.
  5. Im not entirely sure that I did if I am honest. All I remember doing was the latest Orbx updates. Ill re-download the full FTX Central Installer and will give that a go. urgeflaske, Yes indeed I have tried both of these
  6. Yes indeed, all is up to date and correctly installed. Including the Migration tool. Im stumped, as far as maybe re-installing the P3d Scenery, Client and Content folders. Im not sure what else to do.
  7. I did give that a go, still get the same error. Airport still sinks. Maybe I need to do a re-install of the P3d Content file?
  8. Thanks Chris, I will do so now. Jason, I have gone through every folder and file, no EGLC AFACD's anywhere. The strange thing is that EGLC worked perefctly fine until recently. Recent changes were upgrading from P3d 3.2 to 3.3 and the Orbx Libs update.
  9. Yes I have checked the MT6 folder and removed the EGLC AFD file. And yes everything is up to date, I guess I should head over there aswell and see what comes up? I was wondering whether installing the FreemeshX files may resolve it? Or would that complicate things further?
  10. Sadly not, I have run AEC numerous times. However, EGLC doesnt show up in either list to enable or disable it from AEC.
  11. From what I can see, I dont think it has. Whether this may help but I have noticed that as the ground textures load in, thats when the airport starts to drop. So flying into London, ground textures are blurry, as can be expected with such a high density area. As these blurries load in (in two stages), thats when the airport drops.
  12. I have tried all of the above to no avail. I have disabled all addons apart from EGLC and I still get the same issue. Im not sure what else left to try. Quite frustrating as I purchased the Q400 recently, mainly for the purpose of flying in and out of EGLC!
  13. Thanks for the replies, I did have a look for EGLC AFCAD files and such, but will go over them one more time. Im not using any specific mesh I believe. Im using My Traffic 6 AI, maybe that might cause on issue? I will have a look though their forums. UK2000 recommends having them above FTX in the scenery library, which I have. I will give a go at disabling the FTX stuff and see whether that makes a difference. awf, yes I did run the configuration, but it doesn't show at as needing attention. Thank you
  14. HI all, I was hoping that the wealth of knowledge on here could help me with an issue I am having with UK2000 EGLC airport. Firstly, I have requested a forum login over at UK2000 for my first port of call with the issue, but I guess the guys over there are busy as its been a while since the request, hence the plea here. I have the latest P3d V3.3.5 installed. Am using FTX Global, Vector and England. Have numerous UK2000 airports installed, but do not have the VFR airfields or any other third party airports in the London region installed, all purely UK2000. So now to the problem, a curious one. If I start a a flight at EGLC, all is well and dandy, no issues whatsoever. Issues happen on arrival at EGLC. On approach all is fine, the minute I get to within 100 feet, the whole airport (buildings and runway) drop below the terrain by about 8 feet or so, leaving the tops of the buildings showing. I can land no problem on what I assume is the FTX ground texture and terrain. Obviously, the FTX textures are quite basic, leaving me with no runway and taxi markings and the buildings (and static vehicles) poking through the ground. AI treats the ground as normal so it doesn't affect AI in terms of ground level. I have moved all my UK2000 scenery above the FTX stuff in the scenery library. I have tried adjusting the terrain Mesh Resolution to see if that helps. I have used different aircraft, but nothing helps. Has anybody encountered this or have any suggestions as to why this happens or how to fix it? Thank you for taking the time to read through! Darren
  15. HI Jim, I am actually running windows 10. The information you have provided is very useful thank you. Indeed I am using eye candy products which of course put their strain on the system. I guess i need to reevaluate the auto-gen levels and look at disabling addon airports when not in use and disable the photo scenery too. As for Lod-radius, I dont believe I have altered that in anyway, although I will have a look at reducing it if need be. Hopefully this should help run a more stable programme. Again, thank you for your time.
  16. Hello, I have had a number of issue since moving over to 3.2, yesterday was an OOM error which i think was caused by having to many airport add-ons enable while coming into land at London Luton (accidentally had EGLL, EGKK, EGLC, EGSS enabled). Retried the same flight today taking off from Nice and within 5 minutes of gear up, P3d hanged. Now I have been reading up and managed to install AppCrashViewer. I really am not sure what I am looking at. Would someone be kind enough to have a look through the report and point me in the right direction?
