  1. Update: Having now got both radios to work nicely with help from SPAD Next (working, no need to configure), I tried to configure my switch panel, using same. The trouble is, I cannot find ANY help files or manual to assist the latest version, which is quite different from the previous where there is help. Thankfully though, there are really useful videos on the site; start here: Help Video. Without proper help and advice and having no experience of programming switches, knobs etc.., I found it tough to figure, although I'm not all the way through the videos just yet. However, thankfully all of the assignments that I needed had already been programmed by others and all one needs to do from the Panels page, is to select the required switch (for example), then choose 'Online Snippets' , at the bottom of the page, select the appropriate action from the resultant pop up window and apply it to the corresponding switch/knob/gear/button. It was in the end, a very simple process and thanks to all those experienced users of the software for sharing their work online. For the first time ever, I have a fully functioning Saitek Switch Panel! That is to say, within the default Baron 58. I'm struggling to work out how to get it to work in the PMDG 737, but at least I know have a starting point. Thanks pmb once more for your help. BTW, both radio panels working nicely in the PMDG.
  2. Yes, Michael, appears so.
  3. Many thanks Guys, much appreciated. Looking at the SPAD forum, this seems to be the place to start..... https://www.fsgs.com/forum/ All the best, Max
  4. Hello all, I originally posted this in the 'Hardware Controllers | Joysticks | Drivers' forum and got no response. I wonder if it was in the right forum? Anyhow, I though best to try this forum..... Apart from other add-on’s/equipment, I have been using primarily: P3Dv3, PMDG 737, with one Saitek Radio panel. I just invested in a second radio panel and I’m not sure how to integrate it with the first, for which I’m using the SPAD driver (after a nightmare with Saitek’s own!). SPAD doesn't pick up the second. Should I be using FSUIPC or perhaps an alternative? Can anyone pass on any tips or ideas please? As ever, it will be much appreciated! Thanks!

  6. Hi Mike, you were right! It had indeed been renamed. Changed it to .bgl and now the traffic is back. The one place I hadn't looked. Many thanks for your help!
  7. Hi Jim, Windows 7 Intel Core i7-4790k CPU 4GHz RAM: 16GB 64 Bit OS NVidia GeForce GTX 970 5 monitors (3 NEC 27" spanned for outside view & 2 Ilyama 23" for FDU's
  8. Ok, Mike, thanks - I'll have another look at UT2 then. To be honest, my point is if you sell something, then support it properly and fairly. Don't just take the money and run, which sadly seems to be the case quite often in the flight sim world it seems!
  9. Thanks Mike. I'll have a look a little later (not in the right place right now) and report back. The problem with UT2 (in my experience) is the appalling customer service from Flight1.com!
  10. Apologies if this subject has been covered elsewhere, but I've not managed to find it if it has! Frankly, I've been to hell and back with P3D plus add-ons since deciding to invest somewhat in a decent system (solely for the use of P3D) around 10 months ago. I've had periods where I've managed to use the system quite well and really enjoyed going on that steep learning curve, ably assisted I might add by Avsim forums! However, that's another story. The thing is, I've managed quite simply to install and have up and running MT6 in P3D v3, but the pull on system resources seems to have dramatic effect. I'm experiencing OOM's and even today, a blue screen. This after turning down, turning down and more turning down of settings! So I've given up the ghost on MT6 and uninstalled it, but now, I don't have ANY default AI aircraft anywhere, even with the sliders maxed. I guess there's a .cfg entry somewhere preventing the default AI to show, but so far I can't see where. Any ideas?
  11. I followed your instructions to the letter and clearly I had indeed changed the wrong .cfg file for the 737 as now it shows the 'Custom Panel' under instrument views. However, I got the same issue as with the 777, in that just a small black panel appeared and the other panels were in their default position, undocked. I'll continue to scratch my head about this for now, but meanwhile, many thanks indeed for all your help - much appreciated!
  12. Well, first things first, Having searched in explorer, I have approx. 60+ panels to chose from to edit. However, I clearly chose the correct file for the 777, as the option under 'Views' - 'Instrument Panel' in the P3D menu, showed the newly integrated 'Custom Panel'. On selection, I had one small black window appear, but nothing else. I did this with and without wide screen selected - results the same. I switched the cfg file back as it was, checked again, and the 'Custom Panel' no longer appeared, so I'm convinced that it was the correct .cfg file! I tried this also with the 737 and there was no selection possible for a 'Custom Panel', so perhaps I chose the wrong .cfg file to edit. I also tried once more, the integrated PMDG Set Up in the FMC panel, to save the panel state, named it 'custom', exited and reinstated P3D, loaded the aircraft, chose 'Custom' panel state under PMDG options, and lo and behold - nothing! Arghh...!
  13. Great! thanks David - I'll give that a shot and report back. Although I'm using P3D v3.1, I'll see if similar applies.
  14. Thanks guys! A couple of possible solutions to try. I seem to recall reading somewhere that the GoFlight MCP (which I use) doesn't much like FSUIPC running at the same time, but I can try it. Many thanks both! Just a quick question Jetstrem; is there a link that you're aware of where I can get some help configuring a 2D panel in panel.cfg?
  15. Hi all, I'm a newbie so apologies if I'm asking this question in the wrong place! Although I've 'played around' with FS2000 up to the current version of P3D v3.1, I've not taken it that seriously until fairly recently (now hooked!) and so I'm in a fairly sharp learning curve and this seems to be the place to be! One thing I've found really irritating and have been unable to find a solution to, is that of saving undocked panels. I have three screens for 'through the window' views and two below for instrument panels. Each time I load my PMDG777 (or 737), I have to go through the process of undocking each panel and positioning as required. Surely there's an easier way? Any assistance appreciated!
