The new file is now out. Windows Defender can give you some problems when you try to open it, but turning it off let you install the file. It is a common file for FS 2020 and Fs2024. For me it works fine in both simulators. If you have USB hardware from Cpflight uncheck the Ethernet box. Tor Arild

Hi. I got an email from Paolo CP flight today saying that the new driver will be out next week. Let us hope.

I have MCPEL, EFIS and FMC from CP flight, but nothing is working with the new PMDG 737800. Is it only my setup that is wrong, or is it a common problem? I have send a mail to CP flight some days ago, but no responce. Does the Winwing products work well with the FS2024 Boeing?

This was an interesting discussion. When I got my PPL A 25 years ago, I used my flightsim to practice the lessons before doing it in real life. I t was not like the real thing, but it gave me some understanding. My flight instructor also used my sim to practise IFR flying procedures.Today I was talking to a friend of mine, who is an Airbus captain, and he told me that he is still using his flightsim for training. When he is flying to a new airport, he is flying the procedures with FS2024 and the Navigraph charts to learn to know the new airport. He said that the scenery is so good today, that it gives him a good picture of what he will see in real life. That is different from what it was 25 years ago. Tor Arild Danielsen

My old ram had C140 and the new had C160. I dont know what it means, but I will change to C140 for all. I have removed the new RAM, but I still have Ctd after 30 minutes. I also use the Auto Fps app, and today I checked the log file for the app. In every flight that crash I find a line ‘’ Massive Errors reached, closing Receive Thread’’. I am not sure what this means, but I will remove the app and check again.

My last five flights has ctd after 30 min. I experience the same with FBWA320 and PMDG 737 800. I use Simbrief flightplan and FSHud ATC, but one of the flights was without ATC. I have the latest NVidia driver, and a week ago I updated my computer to 64GB RAM. The ctd starts with loss of all sound, and five sec later the sim crashes. Can anyone explain what causes this, and give me advice how to solve it? Tor Arild Danielsen

I have for a long time had Flightsimpm B 737 throttle, and used it with PMDG B737 800 in FS 2020. Now I have also bought PMDG 777 300, and I try to assign the throttle to the B777. The throttle, flap and spoiler levers work as they should. The trim, parkingbrakes, TO/ GA button and the AT pushbutton also works, but the fuel valves does not work. They are assigned using Fsuipc. Is it a way I can assign the fuel valves to make them work in both aircrafts? Tor Arild Danielsen

After the last update the town is very nice. I have testet the impact on fps over London after the update, and I find that on my system I get better frames now than before. Taking off from EGLC I have steady 30+ fps both at the airport and over Central London flying the TBM 930. But when I start a flight from EGSS I now have less ,15-18 fps. When I fly towards Central London,the frames increase to 25+/-, and when I land at EGLC it is 25-30 fps. I wander if I am the only one experience this, or is it the normal behavior of the sim after the update? Tor Arild Danielsen

I experienced this for the first time today. It was my first flight after the update. I was at the runway end waiting for take off, then someone called me, and I had to leave the sim for some minutes. When I came back the screen was frosen, and I did not manage to close down the sim. I had to turn off the computer by pressing the start button and hold it. Tor Arild Danielsen
