Boeing 737 not following ILS course
I am trying to land Boeing 737 on runway 27R using ILS at Heathrow, London flying from Paris. The plane follows course until that morse code beep sound comes. After that when I change it from GPS to NAV, the plane starts to go somewhere else instead of runway. Here's what I am doing. 1. It is set to follow GPS and not NAV 2. ILS frequency 110.30 is set in NAV1 (screenshot below) 3. Course is set to 273 (screenshot below) 4. Before take off, I set my altitude to 4000, speed to 300 and enable auto throttle, VOR LOC etc. i.e. I keep plane ready in auto pilot mode 5. After take off I press auto pilot and the plane flies to destination by following that pink line. No issues here. 6. After a few minutes I enable the NAV1 freqency 7. When I am around 40nm from airport, I reduce speed to 170 and height to 2000. 8. When I around 30nm away from airport, I hear that ILS morse code beep. At this point I change from GPS to NAV. I can see the horizontal diamond in PFD. 9. Now here plane is supposed to follow the course I set earlier isn't it? But it doesn't and it just goes its own way. What am I doing wrong?

Understanding flight navigation plan
I am trying to understand how to read navigation plan. Here's a sample plan from New York to London. As far as I understand the plan says: 1. Take off from Kennedy airport and go to JFK (VOR) by covering distance of 0.9 at heading 058 2. Then go to DUEYS (waypoint) by covering distance of 31.2 at heading 011 3. Then go to GANDE (waypoint) by covering distance of 21.2 at heading 011 Is this how you read it? What if I miss one point while flying? While my GPS correct me?

Auto take off and taxiing to runway
1. I have this problem with Airbus A321 and A380 i.e. if I am playing a free flight and plane is running on runway then it auto takes off. I am not facing this problem with other planes. So basically I am on runway ready to go, I press F4 to full throttle, when it reaches speed around 140, 150 then it takes off near the end of runway. Why is that? 2. When I play free flight then my plane always starts at the runway from where it will take off. I don't want that. I want to taxi the plane to the runway and then take off from there. For e.g. if I am supposed to take off from runway 7R then at the start of free flight plane will already be there so I just have to throttle and go. How to taxi to runway?

Unable to land Boeing 747 without stalling
Very helpful tips guys. I am taking note and apply them next time.

Unable to land Boeing 747 without stalling
I gave it to a friend and he landed the plane in first attempt. Although not on runway but a little sideways but still he was able to do it. Then I did it and I was able to do it finally. Didn't dump the fuel.

How do I dump fuel? I did a few tutorials and one of them included Jet plane but I failed at most of them.

Unable to land Boeing 747 without stalling
I am trying to land this Beoing 747-400 since yesterday. Here's the screenshot. The runway is right ahead (you can see the red/orange light just ahead of airplane nose) I am running on auto pilot. Most of the time the airplane stalls. Twice I managed to land it on the land besides runway but it crashed probably because nose was too low or may be too high speed. What is the appropriate speed, pitch, altitude for this approach? At what time shall I use flaps and landing gear? Sometimes the plane is either too high or at high speed. If I keep speed low then it stalls.

Project Airbus A380 Review
Ok I just installed it. I can see it has VC but I guess it is the same standard one and not A380 specific that's why people keep saying that it doesn't has VC? So from where can I get VC?

Project Airbus A380 Review
I keep seeing the term VC here. What does it mean? By the way is there a guide to install this add on in FSX?

Crash while taking off at Jinnah Intl airport (looks like a bug)
Oh I got what charlie is saying. It was crashing due to that beacon close to runway. Since 747 is a big plane so its wings were striking with that beacon. Other planes were small (for e.g. I tried with Airbus A321) and it didn't have this problem. Who the hell places a beacon so close to runway?

Crash while taking off at Jinnah Intl airport (looks like a bug)
Sorry I am a noob so this is what I am doing. As soon as the free flight loads, I press F4 to full throttle. Plane starts to go and then after few hundred feet it says "Crash". Even if I go slowly, it says Crash at that specific point.

Looking for GPS tutorial
Is there a tutorial available where I can learn to operate the following GPS? For e.g. I know if you click on NRST then it shows nearest airports. But I don't know anything after that i.e. how to select that airport and navigate airplane to it etc.

Crash while taking off at Jinnah Intl airport (looks like a bug)
This looks like a bug to me. Go to "Free Flight" and choose Boeing 747-400. Select airport "Jinnah Intl" which is in Karachi, Pakistan. Now try to take off and you will see it crashes while plane is running on runway. Even if you go slowly like taxing on runway, it still crashes after it reaches a specific point. Is this a bug?

Autorudder and how to turn slighlty (not roll)
1. I am using keyboard to play FSX. In its settings there is an option called "Autorudder" which is enabled by default. When I disabled it then my arrow keys stop working i.e. I cannot move aircraft in any direction. What's the purpose of autorudder? 2. How to turn aircraft slightly to left or right without rolling?
