  1. Hello Greg, really sorry that it took so long with the SIDs/STARs fix, but this turned out to be a bit more complicated. But we released a new version few days ago where now all SIDs and STARs including approach transitions and final approaches should be imported correctly from all airport. You can get the latest version on the FS-FlightControl website or via automatic update as always. I also want to mention that we will extend the SID/STAR usage in FS-FlightControl further within the next weeks: Then it will not only be possible to place the aircraft on one of the waypoints and used them in flight planning as now, but also show individual or all SIDs/STARs of any airport on the map directly. Currently we work on ProSim failure and flight plan integration that is planned to be released at the beginning of next week. As always, just let me know if you should have any further questions or new ideas for our product! Best regards and thanks for your patience Andreas
  2. Hello Erich, this sounds like no data is coming from the app. Then FS-FlightControl closes the connection after 3 seconds without data. The flight simulator is connected at this time, right? Do you run FS-FlightControl on the same computer as the flight simulator? If yes, do you use any tools forcing FS-FlightControl to only use one CPU core? Please check if the WiFi connection on your tablet is good and if that's the case, please try to change the update rate in “Settings” => “Not Aircraft Related Settings” =>”Mobile Devices”. Here you will see an option for the “Mobile App Update Rate”: Please try to reduce the update rate a bit to see if this keeps the connection more stable. Best regards Andreas
  3. Hello Erich, first thanks a lot for your purchase of FS-FlightControl - great to hear that you like our product! The "black screen" issue on the Android side sounds very much like a firewall issue: Please make sure that the Windows Firewall (and also all other installed firewall products) are disabled on your Windows system. Another person in this thread here had the same problem and this solved it for him. By the way, around the release of the iOS app in the next few weeks you can also expect a major update to the Android app version improving UI, performance and stability. Best regards Andreas
  4. Hello Greg, Great to hear that you like it! No problem, when your trial period ended, please just send us a message from within the program (in the "About" section) to get your ID. Then I'm happy to extend your trial period till this issue is fixed. There are some areas in the program that are very aircraft dependent like the "Aircraft" and "Fuel/Load" section. Here it is possible that parts of that do not work with all third party aircraft, but I can say that we are already talking with some third party aircraft vendors to add specific support for their aircraft. But talking about approach positioning we did not hear any complaint from a user till now that it does not work with a specific third party aircraft and we also did test it will major third party aircraft like PMDG and similar without any problems. So this feature the same as most other features like the comprehensive Map and Statistics will work fine with all third party aircraft. You are very welcome and to be honest bugs like this should even be fixed faster than about two weeks now in total, but this turned out to be a bit more complicated to fix and also needs some more intensive testing afterwards to make sure everything is really imported correctly then. So therefore thanks for your patience! Best regards Andreas
  5. Hello Greg, just wanted to let you know that I did not forget your question about the SIDs/STARs. We did investigate this already and found out that for some airports (like the one you mentioned) not all SIDs/STARs get imported correctly and are in the progress in improving our data import algorithm to fix that. You can expect an fix regarding that in an update next week. Best regards and thanks again for your interest in FS-FlightControl Andreas
  6. Hello Greg, thanks for this info, we'll do some tests regarding SIDs/STARs for different airports (checking if they are imported correctly) within the next few days. Best regards Andreas
  7. Hello Nick, first thanks for testing our FS-FlightControl Instructor Station! Although the Android app is still in beta status, we did not get many reports about a connection issue like this till now. Please first check if there might be any updates for the Android app available in the Play Store (just to be sure you are using the latest version). Then on the Windows side there is an option in "Settings" => "Not Aircraft Related Settings" => "Mobile Devices" to change the mobile device update rate: Please play around a little bit with that (to both directions) if this makes any difference for you. Beside that please check if your WiFi connection is good and stable. If not this could lead to disconnections as well. Finally, you can expect a major update for the Android app within few weeks together with the release of the iOS app version which should also improve the connection stability and performance considerably. I hope I could help with that already and looking forward to any further questions or ideas regarding our product! Best regards Andreas
  8. Hello, thanks for all your feedback! @gboz: Yes, indeed, Navigraph added official support for FS-FlightControl with the current AIRAC cycle as well. @Paul: Thank you for the confirmation here that the problem is solved for you and thanks for the nice e-mail communication in the past days. :-) @Gunther: Perfect, really glad that this is solved for you now, too, and thanks a lot for explaining the core of the problem here. We really search a bit on our side already what could have caused these stutters and are really happy now that you found the solution, danke! If any other questions or also new ideas for the product should come to your mind, please don't hesitate to post them here or write us directly! Best regards and thanks everybody here for the interest in FS-FlightControl Andreas
  9. Hello Gunther, we just released a major update yesterday evening of FS-FlightControl and added an additional option regarding the stutter issue you noticed: Please update the program to the latest version 1.1.0 on the next program start and then go to “Settings” => “Not Aircraft Related Settings” =>”Mobile Devices”. Here you will see a new option for the “Mobile App Update Rate”. Please test if reducing the update rate also reduces the stutters you noticed. Best regards Andreas
  10. Thanks for this info, Gunther! We currently get a major update ready (should be released today) and we'll do some tests regarding these stutters then within the next days. Best regards and thanks again for your interest in FS-FlightControl Andreas
  11. Hello Gunther, first thanks for your interest in our product! You see the small stutters in Prepar3D or in FS-FlightControl? Although we do recommend to run it on a separate computer where possible, it should work fine on the same computer as the flight simulator as well. You could try to play around a bit with the map update frequency in the program settings, but we will also do some tests on our side again regarding this. Best regards Andreas
  12. Thanks for letting us know about that, Hans! We'll report this false positive to Panda. Best regards Andreas
  13. Hello Paul, no problems. You can disable the Touch Input Helper in the settings by the way, but it will be very useful when FS-FlightControl is used with the Android app. We got the logs, will have a look now and get back to you via e-mail! Best regards Andreas
  14. You're welcome, Paul! Just send us a message from the program including logfiles, we'll have a look and get back to you via e-mail shortly. Best regards Andreas
  15. Hello Paul, looks like FS-FlightControl has problems connecting to your flight simulator. Which flight simulator version are you using? FSX, FSX Steam Edition or Prepar3D 1.x, 2.x or 3.x? FS-FlightControl should be compatible with all of them, but it's good to know in case of such connection issues. Please make sure that flight simulator is running (just set your aircraft on any airport). If the problem persists, please then go in FS-FlightControl to "About" and send us a message from there while making sure the "Include Logfiles" check box is selected. This way we can easily check the log messages on our side and get back to your shortly. Best regards Andreas
