  1. Thanks for the responses. I'll look into that for sure. The only thing with my freezes is I have a temperature controller on the front of my PC, when I'm at full load, it sits at 55 degrees Celsius, but when it freezes, it goes back to normal operating temps. So the graphics card isn't even being stressed. Also too I've done this before when I set a long flight, came back a few hours later and it was frozen. So who knows how long it was frozen for.
  2. Unfortunately I haven't been able to complete a long flight in prepar3d V3 because a couple of hours in, sometimes even sooner, the game just freezes. Freezes so bad I can't cont+alt+del to get to the task manager, can't do anything to close the program. I literally have to do a hard reboot of my PC. On short flights it's ok, as long as I'm present the whole time and looking around and what not. I'm almost always using my PMDG 777, and have ASN and Rex 4+soft clouds. Any ideas on what causes this?

  4. So I just transitioned to P3D and FTX global and vector were my very first addons. I love them, but with vector there is no configuration tool like there was in FSX so I can't change the elevation at some airports and disable secondary roads. I would like to uninstall vector altogether, but there isn't an uninstall option available on my PC. Would I need to uninstall FTX global first? Would doing that also uninstall vector? Thanks in advance!
  5. Ok so I've had my custom rig for a few months now, an I7-5930k (OC'd to 4.5 ghz), an EVGA edition gtx 780 TI, 1 Tb HD and a 250 gb SSD, 2666 MHz ddr4, and a gigabyte x99 gaming 5 motherboard. It is a beast. However, after my latest purchase (fsdreamteam lax V2), I've been having stutters and they are pretty bad even when I'm not at LAX. I uninstalled LAX but the stutters are still there. I'll turn on my frame counter and in an external view in my PMDG 777 at a payware airport, I would hit 40-50 FPS. With the stutters it won't even go past that and it's very inconsistent. I set up fsx and my rig according to nick n's the bible and I'm just really confused to what is causing this. Should I just wipe the slate clean and uninstall everything I've downloaded in the past three months, or try to do some digging? I would appreciate ANY feedback.
  6. So every now and again, when I play back my recorded video with fs recorder, I can't see my water textures! They are just replaced with my sky textures! For a person who is starting out making videos, it's very frustrating. Any help would be great.
