As I am currently not at home for some weeks, so I can not provide you with my panel.cfg.  Sorry.

In the xls, just enter your surround screen resolution and the values will be calculated as described. The calculation will only give you new size values. You have to do the modification of the position by yourself. The position is your personal preference.

    Thank you...trying now

  2. I have a question.

    1. In your .xls file I set my nvidia surround 3 screen resolution (eg 5460 x 1080)

    2. then I get the new coordinates for the pop up displays referring to the new resolution (correct?)

QUESTION: where do I write in the .cfg file the SIZE of those pop up?

WHen I pop up the displays I get a wrong X Y position of the POP up display but also a wrong size X-Y.

    I need to correct both.

As an example can you post your panel.cfg file to better understand?

    Thank you

  3. Finally the issue has been solved.

I want to thank Byork for his  patiente and availability.

For the users....if you do not see RAAS installed in the add on list in the P3D menu....check if a version of Microsoft Database Engine 64bit has been correctly installed in your Win 10 app list. If not...and you are running MS office 64 bit...you can try to install RAAS again (without uninstalling it). It solved my issue.

And ask Byork to assist you 🙂

  4. Good morning,

I installed the 64bit office version.
    Office OK.
But P3D did not start. completely mute.
I noticed that even though I had uninstalled the old 32 bit version offfice (before installing the 64bit), the Microsoft Access Database Engine 64 bit (Spanish) module was still there.
I uninstalled it. But still P3D did not start.
I followed the procedure indicated by Prepar3d in case of problems, deleting the 3 directories that connect P3D to the addons and I reinstalled P3D 4.5 client
    It worked. P3D is restarted.
I had to "reconnect" the connections with the addons and I succeeded in 90%: RAAS does not appear in the add ons list and I don't see it in the P3D add ons menu.
I tried to reinstall PMDG 747 Queen of the sky
    I tried to reinstall FS2crew 747
However in the list of ADD ADD ONs RAAS does not appear and obviously does not work.

    What can I do?

  5. Thank you but I am little confused.

This is the answer I got from PMDG

    https://forum.pmdg.com/forum/main-forum/general-discussion-news-and-announcements/pmdg-747-queen-of-the-skies-ii-forum/11167-747-400-packages

The MS database engine 64 bit has been installed or by PMDG or by FS2crew...and immediately after I got some issues because the installed vrsion of the MS database engine is 64 bit, whilst I have the 32 bit.

I would like to know if installing the 32 bit versione of the MS access database engine, the RAAS system will continue to work (in this way I will solve also the actual issue opening the MS office products).

PMDG says they do not develop RAAS, and they have  addressed me here.

    May you help me?

  6. I have bought the fantastic DHC3 Turbo Otter for P3D V4.3 and have another small issue.

If I turn the HEADING and the GYRO DRIFT knobs using the mouse wheel they do not work.

Also using the RIGHT and LEFT mouse click staying on the knobs...they do not work

Note that if I do the same with the ATTITUDE CAGE and ATTITUDE CALIBRATION they work porfectly

    What am I missing?

  7. Good morning to all,

I have just purchased the fantastic DHC3 turbo otter

I like to fly with "analogic" cockpit ...for this reason I have selected the NAVSTAX radio equipment

I am not able to switch them on??!!

I am familiar with the A2A sim and I know how to use them...but here if I try to rotate the OFF knob to switch them on...it does not move.

    What am I missing?

    Thank you

  8. Thank you... I had the Q400 and the step to upgrade it from P3D V3 version to the P3DV4 has special price (in Justflight)..so I will get it at a reduced price.

My question was referring to the FS2CREW addon for the Majestic Q400

Did you line select the "Next Hold" prompt on the Hold page?  That should open a blank Hold page where you can enter any fix you like (from your route).

To tell the truth I did it...but I do not remember a page where I could set the fix...I will double check. Thank you.

I think MA514 was over riding the attempt to set up MA532.  The FMS will only set up one hold.

On occasion I will see published holding patterns in the terminal procedures built into the navdata, never in the US but it seems to be common in Europe.  It is as if the clearance to fly the published arrival terminates at the hold unless otherwise cleared by ATC.  In the US, there are published holds on arrivals but the clearance to fly the arrival extends all the way to the terminating fix or vector and the hold is entered only when a clearance is amended by ATC.   I'm adding all this to let you know I fly in the US real world so I'm not familiar with the Europe stuff.

I think you need to step over the hold at MA514 to set up the one at MA532.  What I mean by step over is LSB the next waypoint over the hold on the legs page to effectively remove it.

This is an interesting test that I can do. Next week I'll have a group flight to Madeira (again) and I will test your "step over" procedure.

in any case I can confirm that when I was closer to MA532 I have been able  to set that fix. In my attempts to do it I do not know if I have previously deleted the MA514 . I will report the results of my test.

what you say makes sense, considering that Madeira has a very tricky approach and often it is necessary to hold before proceeding towards the final.

    thank you Dan!
