Hi can P2A import taxi ways and gates from MSFS? I am using a networked setup and have shared my c:\msfs folder (which contains 2 subfolders: official and community). I have mapped my network share \\msfshostcomputer\msfs as my M: drive on the secondary computer (running P2A). In P2A I set the FSX Root folder to M:\ but when I try to import taxiways and gates it runs MakeRwys but it fails to import anything. I have tried copying the MakeRwys to the M:\Official\OneStore folder but running it there yields the same results. Note P2A works well otherwise using the FSUIPC 7 beta with wideclient. Hi all, Recently purchased the Maddog MD-82. I noticed that P2A is unable to set the standby frequency and I have to set it manually before P2A automatically switches (which is ok). Note I also have Aivlasoft EFB v2 and it too is unable to set the standby radio so I guess this isn't unique to P2A. However, has anyone found a work around (apart from manually setting the desired frequency)? Thanks. Hilkiah

Hi all, I'm having some issues with GSX v2 and the PMDG 747-8i (passenger...haven't tried the freighter version yet). For starters my cargo won't load even though the FWD, AFT and Bulk doors are open and the loading vehicles are in place. Secondly despite door 2 being open, I keep getting a message to open door 2. Note that my passengers do board and deboard but since my cargo never loads I always have to reset GSX before proceeding to pushback. Thirdly, how can I adjust the time it takes to board and deboard? In the old version of GSX you could set a per passenger time etc. What is the equivalent in GSX v2? I acknowledge this is probably GSX related, but I'm hoping that other 748i pilots have experienced the same and can advise on a workaround/fix. Regards, Hilkiah

Can someone advise how a step change or an altitude change is done when using a networked version of P2A (which doesn't allow you to speak to the ATC)? If this is not possible then I would suggest a few entries offered in the text selection area for altitude climb/descent (maybe 3 - 5 options increasing by 1000 for each one). That way you can gradually request a different altitude up or down close to yours.

BTW my headset is a USB headset which is connected to the main PC. I have a 3.5mm audio cable running from the speaker output of my second computer (P2A) to the line in on my P3D computer so I can hear output from my P2A through the headset on the P3D computer. What I have never been able to figure out is how to get the audio from the usb headset connected to the P3D computer to be sent to the P2A second PC.

Dave would multiplicity allow you to use your mic on your main machine to communicate with P2A on the second machine? Thanks. Hilkiah

Hi all, Not sure what went wrong but had to recently reinstall EVERYTHING for v4.3. Anyway whenever I fire up P2A, import a flightplan (from simbrief), connect, validate and file, my speech assistant has no entries to select no matter what I select from the drop down menues and no matter what frequency I am on (yes the frequency changes correctly). Show In-Line Grammar Help is selected. I can press the PTT button (turns green) and say 'say altimeter' and the program responds correctly. Its just that I have no entries in the speech assistant window. I am using P3D v4.3 (with various addons) and P2A 2.5.0.4 x64 R3

Hi all, I've been trying to install P3d v4.3 for hours now but keep running into issue after issue. I have had to download each file individually and then verified the file using fciv program (md5 checksum). They are all ok (i.e. md5 check sum matches)! However when I run the Setup_Prepar3d file (as admin), somewhere along the installation process I get errors such as those below. I currently have windows defender disabled. This is also a fresh install of Windows 10 Home (formatted and reinstalled this morning). Any pointers? Note I am trying to install P3d to a 256gb SSD (Windows is on another 256gb SSD) and the installation files are on the 2TB HDD. Can also confirm the problem is related to traffic in UTC. I will have to find the sweet spot. Thanks again.

I use UTL myself and see this problem at various Addons airports (LFPG is notorious for this). Do you use addon traffic yourself? If so what level do you have yours set to?

Only workaround that works, is to access your MFD using the 2d menus.

Interesting that the mouse selection works for you guys. For me I simply select (mouse) the AS option via the Addons menu, let it quickly flash by and then disappear and then I select (mouse) the GSX menu (which then acts like normal). If if I were to select (mouse) the gsx menu straight it quickly flashes and automatically selects an option. Note I do use numbers for my CP views. Some have suggested changing CP assigned keys (ie don’t use numbers), but that didn’t make a difference for me.

Hey Willy, Having recently purchased EzDok myself, I like the idea of seamlessly switching between them. I have installed your Switch Camera System app and set my paths correctly. I am running as Admin also. However when I open the program I can't select Chaseplane, SimpleCam, EZDok or NONE. They are all greyed out. Am I missing something?

I think the answer is in that link (essentially put it DIRECTLY above Scenery\Bathymetry). I had the same question as you and saw the above post.

Thanks Dave. That was quick!! I'm going to do another flight KMIA-KCLT. I will try to use the info panel when I land. However one question....According to the info panel with AAL flitered, D25 and D26 are both American Airline gates. Thus why do you think P2ATC refused to allow me to change to D26, even though D26 was free and D25 was occupied?

Hi I'm using the demo version of P2ATC with p3d 4.2. I landed at KMIA and requested taxi to the gate. I was assigned D25 (I'm was flying an AA livery) however that gate was already assigned (according to GSX). I tried to "request taxi to gate D26" (which was free/unoccupied), however P2ATC kept assigning me to D25. Question, does P2ATC take into consideration AI traffic at the gates when determining availability? How do you request taxi to a specific gate or to change the assigned gate?
