Hi Mike, Sorry for such a late response, no matter what I set notifications to, I never seem to get informed when someone replies. it's probably a little late now, but I'll reply anyway just in case. You're correct, you mic should be connected to the Pilot2Atc computer as normal. I recently (before your post) updated the app so that it now uses UDP which is much quicker and more responsive. I always use this app and I've never had any issues with delay or latency, even on wireless. If you've experienced any issues, let me know. Thanks,

Hi all, I’ve just put a couple of bug fixes through as version 2.0.1. Use the link a couple of posts up or visit X-Plane.org use the link in my first post. Thought I’d share a tip which is working out quite nicely for me. I use the key switch on the Honeycomb yoke to bind to the XPDR TCAS rotary dial in my PMDG aircraft. As you might know, when using P3D, P2A can’t detect when we turn the XPDR rotary dial in the aircraft, so we have to do it manually on the P2A GUI. (A limitation of FSUIPC if I remember correctly.) I’ve assigned F7 as a XPDR hot key in P2A (Config > Btn menu) to cycle through the XPDR states. Then I’ve configured the PTT network kit to send F7 when I turn the key to 2nd and 3rd position. (R and L key positions) So now, when I turn the key all the way round to the right, (TA/RA in the aircraft, ready for flight,) this effectively presses F7 twice and places the P2A XPDR in Active status. When I turn the key all the way left (STBY in the aircraft) this presses F7 twice again changing the P2A XPDR to off. It’s a bit of a hack, but works quite well. Cheers.

Hi Dave, Just an update on the voices. It looks like a couple of the default Windows 10 voices have become obsolete maybe? David Desktop and Zira Desktop don't seem to be available anymore. The David Desktop voice files are missing from their directory now as well. Oddly, the Zira Desktop ones are still there but they won't play. Anyway, it looks like they've been replaced with Microsoft Zira and Microsoft David. I've been through all of the voices and made sure they work with the test button now and removed the dead ones. I'll jump in a flight at EGNX again in the morning and make sure I'm number 2 if I can, and see if it happens again. Cheers, Mark.

Hi Dave, It was a few days ago now, so I can't quite remember, but I think it kept mishearing me for a start. Co-pilot was off so it was me answering all the time. However, I started to use the predefined responses when it couldn't hear me. Then when it started looping, it was ignoring the PTT button so I tried with predefined again but it just wasn't responding. I'll see if I can find what's causing the voices not to be found. Hi, This has happened a couple of times to me recently. I've attached the log and copy of the conversation to help with this one. Sat ready to take off (EGNX - P3D), one in front and two on final. First one on final lands, then the AI in front of me lines up and takes off, then the second one on final goes around because it was too close, but all the time, this message you can see in the text file is just stuck looping. There was nothing I could do to stop it. Changed frequency, tried to respond both verbally and via the menu, in the end disconnecting and reconnecting was the only way to kill it off. Hi @Dave-Pilot2ATC, Sorry, post my last bug about co-pilot in the wrong part of the forum! One more I noticed, I'm not sure whether this is Pilot2ATC or Navigraph. It's happened for the last two AIRAC cycles. It doesn't show itself when using Navigraph for other products like the PMDG etc. The London approach, ILS 27R with the BIG transition, has an odd waypoint that's miles out and can't be amended as it's part of a procedure. Hi @Dave-Pilot2ATC, I've seen this pop up a few times and I originally had this issue myself until you helped me, but it seems to be a recurring bug. I've noticed that every time you start Pilot2ATC, the Co-pilot responds for you by default. Even if the boxes aren't checked. If you 'clear' the options, it works for that sessions, then as soon as you restart it again, it's back to responding for you. It seems to be a bit bugged. Here's some pictures of what I see. This is after a fresh startup The boxes are unchecked and the respond to radio hotkey and radio button are either blank or say none. So this should not respond. However, it does. So what I do after every time I've restarted Pilot2ATC is click Clear against both of these settings which then looks like the below. Now you can see that it states Disabled and none, this is how you stop it. But as soon as you restart Pilot2ATC it will default back to the top picture again and you will have to do this all over again. Hope this helps, I'm assuming this is a bug? Hi all, I upgraded recently from 2.6.1.2 to 2.6.1.3 and now I can't seem to disable the co-pilot responds and changes frequencies check boxes. (They were off before the upgrade) I uncheck them and they check again in front of my eyes. I've noticed if I uncheck one, the other selects itself again. If I mess around enough, I can get them both unchecked, but I also noticed if I move the window, it selects them both again. I managed to unselect them once and respond by myself for one time only and then they had selected themselves again and it continued to respond for me. Anyone else come across this bug?

Hi Dave, Couple of problems I've noticed over the past few months. On several occasions now it's clipped the end of the QNH off and just states the first two digits. You can see that here as it actually printed it that way as well. QNH is One Zero Contact Ground on One Two One decimal zero when ready for pushback enjoy your afternoon The second issue is, whenever there's a need to hold short at a runway, because of other traffic, whenever you read back the hold short instruction, you're never understood. This includes verbal readback and by pressing the Say It button for the predefined reply. This happens almost every time without fail. hmm it worked correctly the second time. Great!! I probably still let Navigraph know about their data being a bit iffy.

Hi @Dave-Pilot2ATC, Thanks for the quick response. I think I can see what's causing it now after you pointed me in the right direction. It looks like an AIRAC error. I did the test and it did start with EGHI tower as you suggested it would. However, when flying in from Cardiff, I selected EGHI Tower from the list but it jumped to the duplicate EGHH tower instead, and there was no way I could make it select EGHI's version instead. I looked at my Navigraph maps, and for some strange reason, they've included a couple of Southampton frequencies in EGHH. See below. I looked in the AIRAC data to see if it was the same in there and it is: See how they've assigned two Southampton frequencies to the Bournemouth Airport ID? This is obviously causing the program to get confused. Thanks Mark. whoops, didn't see your update until I'd posted. I'll try again and see what happens.

Hi @Dave-Pilot2ATC, Happy new year! I've noticed on a couple of occasions, and this time I took a screen shot, that there are duplicate frequencies at airports in the same area, often on the Tower frequency, and when it happens, it obviously favours one over the other, and it's not normally the airport I need. For example, I've just completed a flight from EGFF to EGHI. When I tried to tune the EGHI tower on 118.20 it gave me EGHH tower instead. I hadn't noticed this and wondered why Tower directed me to land on rw 08 when there isn't one at EGHI, and I couldn't override it either. If you look at the frequencies list, you can see the duplicate. The one beneath is actually the correct one. I'm not sure where it's come from, I've loaded EGHH (stock airport) into WED and the frequencies are correct in there. Cheers, Mark. P.s. latest version of P2ATC, XP11 and AIRAC cycle.

Hi @Kennair, Snap! Got my Honeycomb last week as well. Found exactly them same issue, I'd put a quick fix in place to get it working, I'll look at making it more user friendly this afternoon then I'll release an update. ahh sorry @Dave-Pilot2ATC, I could have sworn the bug forum said it was only for Beta testers, but I've just noticed it's for anyone and both of mine should be in there really. Apologies, I'll post there from now on if anymore occur.

Hi @Dave-Pilot2ATC, Sorry might have found another one, not intentionally, just modifying airports. If you delete a gate, then click on another gate the deleted gate reappears again. But only temporarily, it seems it really has gone, as when you save and go back in, it's not there. When you delete a series of gates it's obvious as the last one always reappears when deleting the next, then they both vanish on deletion. You'll see what I mean if you delete 5 in a row. Hi @Dave-Pilot2ATC, I think I've stumbled across another bug. It states in the instructions that every time you import an airports Taxiways/gates, it creates a backup first, so that you can restore the original if you've only performed one import of each at that point. Sure enough the backups create, but I've noticed that when you use them, it fails to import the original setup and instantly records over them, destroying them without the restore having taken effect. The second time I needed to do this I took precautions and created copies of the backups first. I then tested. Sure enough, when I restored using the original backups, the restore didn't work and then the backup files became useless as they were then overwritten. However, then I tried to restore from the copies of the backups, named the same but appended with - Copy, and they worked perfectly. So it seems that when you're restoring from backups, it some how manages to record over them before using them, rendering them ineffective. Hope this helps, Mark.
