Many thanks for the reply . I am using Traffic Global, but not sure if that is influencing things. I actually quite like the fact that there is some extra to focus on at the end of a flight. Keeps the brain cells working. Thanks again for the reply .

I hope someone can help explain something to me that has been on my mind for a while. Why is that when I have a STAR programmed into my FMS and it all looks OK in terms of the flight plan, that ATC takes over on approach and gives me different vectors to line line up with the same runway. Is there a reason why it doesn’t follow the flight plan? One of my settings for example? It’s not a massive issue as I ultimately end up in the same place , but just wondered why this happens . Any advice appreciated. 🙂 Many thanks..

Hi Dave, just an update on my findings. I cranked the aircraft number about as low as I can go without making it zero (about 200 aircraft and no GA), and I still have the link pauses at certain points on the flight after take off. Never an issue on the ground, even at very busy airports like EGLL or EHAM. I have been disabling the link via the plugin in menu and the issue goes away. Just wanted to let you know.

Yeah, I have knocked it back from about 60 to about 40%... will see if that fixes things...

Hi Dave, Been on a couple of flights recently and had no issues with the link, however I am currently flying from EGCC to EGLL (much busier area) and I had the same issue with pauses, and the link was hogging all the resources on the Plugin Performance pie chart again. Switch it off an OK. Just wanted to let you know. All the best, Stuart

Thanks Dave. Is there a way to include Custom User Waypoints? I have a list of oil platforms with custom way points (user_fix.dat file) and I wanted to create a plan that leaves from an airport, flies out to that point then back again. Is there a way for these points to be recognized? Struggling to see if that is possible. They show up in the FMS, but it would be great if I could use ATC to guide me there and back etc

Hi Dave, I forgot to save the P2ATC log ( apologies) but will share the XP one in a wee bit. Many thanks … Could it be connected to XPUIPC? I did update the version I had from the one mentioned in the manual just recently. I have just swapped back to the older version to see if that makes any difference. Will try repeating a flight and let you know if there is any difference. Many thanks.

During my latest flight nearing busy airspace I had the same issue in the plugin performance window. There was no issue when I left a much quieter airport, EGPD, but when I neared the much busier EGCC same thing. This time I disabled the P2AXPlink in the plugin admin, and it immediately fixed the issue. This is the ‘slow’ version as suggested above. At the end of the flight while taxing, the sim crashed. On checking the log file it said the link was the cause . This was new, hadn’t experienced this previously. I have the log if that’s any use.

I have seen exactly the same thing. On the ground just fine, 5 mins in the air stutters and the pie chart shows fully green circle just after a stutter and the P2A link.

Just wondering how folks are getting on with the new Navigraph auto updater feature . Tried it today, however I got stuck at the Navigraph log in screen. Basically the P2ATC Utility screen was overlayed on the Navigraph log in screen so I couldn’t do anything. P2ATC then wouldn’t close and had to go to Windows Task menu. I then used the manual update option and that seemed to work as previously. Anyone else been having issues? Thanks

Hello folks, Does XP12 real weather work in V3.0? Apologies, it isn't totally clear to me. In settings under WX I see SIM Weather (Not Available for X-Plane), but the XP Root folder link option is listed. Could someone confirm if this is an option, and if so how to set up? Many thanks..

Not sure if this is the most appropriate place, but I just wanted to say thanks for V3. Upgraded my PC recently and when reloading all the various bits and bobs, decided to go all in with V3. The UI and the various tabs and menus took a little while to get the hang of, but no regrets, works great, some nice new features, and in fact I am sure a little smoother than v2, which was great BTW. Anyway, just wanted to share my appreciation. 🙂 Keep up the great work as still one of the best sim add ons available IMHO.

Hello folks, I tried the utility to convert my V2 data and now I get the error 'DataMgr.Init Error' and the loading bar just goes on and on. If I click on anything it just crashes. Everything seemed OK before I tried this. Can't see how to attached a photo. Any suggestions? Many thanks..

Is it possible to add locations so that P2ATC will recognise them if you create a flight plan. For example, offshore platforms if the have a dedicated way point, ID etc currently not in the 'data base'. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hello folks, looking for some further advice, this time re the transponder, and the Copilot action to automatically change this. I have noticed that P2ATC no longer does this although the check box is ticked. The radio frequencies change, and the copilot responds to the radio as desired, but not the transponder. I am mainly using Toliss aircraft and the JD Coilot add on and was wondering if there is perhaps a connection? Any obvious reason why the transponder would not change automatically? I am sure it used to. Have been living with this for quite a while now, so can't recall when it stopped working. Thanks BTW, this is till bt far one of the best X-Plane add ons... can't live without it!!

Hello folks, looking for some advice on how to get the gate /stand I would prefer at the end of my flight after landing. If I ask to taxi to gate, I often get random gates far from anywhere , so is there a way to specify a gate of my choosing? Many thanks… I should mention I have tried specifying the gate number, but it doesn't always work... is there anything specific I need to do?
