  1. Good point, maybe not SayIntentions ai then. I hope with time good atc ai algorithms will be built by smart people as opensource similar if not better than SayIntentions ai. If such an opensource ai is integrated by vatsim, everyone in the same unmanned airspace would be connected to the ai vatsim system, just like how they are now on unicom.
  2. What would really be great is if vatsim gets into an arrangement with SayIntentions ai and integrate their systems so all unmanned airspaces on vatsim are covered by SayIntensions ai while remaining on the vatsim network. So vatsim controllers will always pass you to the next station even if its unmanned and that's where SayIntentions ai picks you up, and visa versa when entering from unmanned to manned vatsim controlled airspace. Imagine getting the best of two worlds, the great vatsim manned airspaces (Boston, Gatwick, Schiphol...etc.) and SayIntentions ai everywhere else vatsim controllers are not online, you never have to unnecessarily switch to unicom anymore. I hope this happens this year or the next, one can only hope!
  3. Thanks for the feedback all. I tried moving the control 20 times and some compressed, and that did the trick... so far 🙂 Thanks again, Mustafa
  4. Thanks Bob; So I may have found the culprit here. As when I went through your suggestions, I started looking at the FSUIPC axis controls one by one, and the axis I have assigned to spoilers is a B737 mod from Flight Simulator Controls Modifications. It is always in the stowed position during flight obviously, so I didn't think of it, but it turns out that the input coming out of it to FSUIPC during calibration is wild, jumping 1000s of points without it being touched sometimes crossing beyond the armed values of the calibration. I'm going to tinker with a bit, update the driver and calibrate it in Windows, and will report back. Thanks, Mustafa
  5. Hi Paul; Thanks for the response, no nothing is mapped aside from the Ctrl-/ and I haven't been pressing it while flying. I also tried changing this assignment from Shift-/ but still the same behavior persisted! Can I track Ctrl 86637 somehow? Best, Mustafa
  6. Hi there; I keep getting an event that arms the spoilers in mid flight (PMDG aircrafts 747 & 777). The event showing in the FSUIPC log is below: 1428313 *** EVENT: Cntrl= 86637 (0x0001526d), Param= -11819 (0xffffd1d5) <86637> I checked PMDG Commands and there is nothing assigned to any of the three Spolier commands. Any advice on how to identify the control or the source of this event. Thanks in advance. Mustafa
  7. I am wondering if there's a capability in SIMStarter to run a task after the sim is closed (shutdown). utLive2 always place the add-on.xml in the P3D5 Addons folder and I have separate folder for addons, this creates a conflict and P3D confuses utlive2 as a new addon. So I have to always delete the folder from P3D5 Addons folder as utlive2 recreates it each time the sim starts. I want to have a delete folder task after the sim closes, is there such a function in SIMStarter? Thanks Mustafa
  8. Hi all; For all VFR two engine prop fans out there, if you are interested in having Microsoft add a steam gauge variant of the Baron 58 on the new MSFS, please vote on the MSFS forum linked below. The vote button is a blue button on the top left side of the thread. https://forums.flightsimulator…-with-steam-gauges/273317 Happy VFR flying...
  9. Hi there; I'm late to the game, but I would love to have a copy myself, can I have a copy please? mustafahajjar@hotmail.com
  10. Thanks w6kd, yes I am using v5.1. I saw the post and I will give it a try.
  11. I'm having the same issue, where you able to solve your problem Skysurfer?
  12. Whenever I try to add the arrival runway fix in the 747-400 FMC, I get a "NOT IN DATA BASE" msg. I am picking the arrival runway from the legs page but that is not helping. I researched a bunch and tried the following with no use: 1- Deleted the ARPT_RWY.dat from the PMDG, then ran MakeRunways (admin) and PMDG recreated a new one fine. The file has the arrival runway in reference (OEJN) but still the problem persisted in the 744 FMC. 2- I tried entering the same plan in the FMC of the 748F and there was no problem, the FMC of the -8 accepted the arrival runway fine copying from the LEGS to the FIX page. So makes me think the problem is specific to the 744. 3- I tired updating the P3D from WorldNavAids but that didn't help. 4- I ran Navigraph FMS Data Manager again and verified the airports.dat file is the latest in PMDG\NavData is from the latest AIRAC, still no use! What am I missing here? Thanks, Mustafa
  13. Just installed the Navigraph expansion but after powering on the batteries the MFD is struck on the intro screen and showing the AIRAC out of date (Exp Mar 30 2016) although the db file in the CarinadoNavigraph folder is up-to-date after updating nav data with Navigraph FMS Manager. I clicked on ENT as specified but the map only flashes and I'm back to the Intro screen. Any ideas why this is happening? Runnnig P3D V4.5 Hotfix 3, and here's how my dll.xml looks like: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <SimBase.Document Type="Launch" version="1,0"> <Descr>Launch</Descr> <Filename>dll.xml</Filename> <Launch.ManualLoad>False</Launch.ManualLoad> <Launch.Addon> <Name>SPAD.neXt LVAR Bridge</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad> <Path>Modules\spdbridge64.dll</Path> </Launch.Addon> <Launch.Addon> <Name>CMeteoXml</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad> <Path>.\CMeteoXml.dll</Path> </Launch.Addon> <Launch.Addon> <Name>FSUIPC 5</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad> <Path>C:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\Modules\FSUIPC5.dll</Path> </Launch.Addon> <Launch.Addon> <Name>Navigraph Simlink</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad> <Path>Gauges\NavigraphSimlink.dll</Path> </Launch.Addon> <Launch.Addon> <Name>IVAO Pilot Client</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Path>C:\Flight Simulation\Tools\IVAO\Pilot\PilotCore\pilot_core_fsxp3d_x64.dll</Path> <Commandline /> </Launch.Addon> <Launch.Addon> <Name>Carenavigraph</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Path>.\Carenavigraph.dll</Path> </Launch.Addon> <Launch.Addon> <Name>as_connect</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Path>as_srv\as_connect_64.dll</Path> </Launch.Addon> </SimBase.Document> Thanks, Mustafa
  14. I had the Baron copied over from FSX to P3D back when I migrated to P3D 4.1 and it has been working fine for the longest time, even after the upgrades to current P3D 4.5. Just recently some controls stopped working, primarily engine 1 throttle. I am not sure what I installed since it stopped working, but it was working fine few months ago in P3D 4.5. I have a bunch of airport add-ons, ChasePlane, PMDG NGXu and others, and FSUIPC5. P3D controls disabled, and I doubled checked FSUIPC5 conflicting control inputs and they are none, I even took out the default no-profile assigned control mappings but the problem persists. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mustafa
