Seems that the keyboard shortcut minimizes P2A but will not restore it. A mouse button shortcut works just fine minimizing and restoring the P2A window.

Yes, not following STAR or any other approach, always seems to give vector's and depending on the aircraft it changes. Just not following a planned flight in FMC.
