  1. I can easily record a flight in windows 10 by .. windows key + alt key + R ( whilst in the sim ) but when I connect a mike to my lap top that does not work so I am unable the make a narrative as I record the flight. Any ideas what I need to do ? thanks 😬

  3. Yes but ATC were telling me to ascend to 7,000 even though I was about ten miles from touchdown. Since then I have taken off and landed a number of times with no problem. Thanks for you response Manny.
  4. Yes nine time out of ten it's good, so when it does not work I am left too high and it's annoying, so in the future I am going to descend at my discretion and switch ATC off.
  5. Being 13 miles from touchdown A320 NEO. I am at 8.000 ft and ATC DO NOT tell me to descend, so I miss the airport, even over the airport ATC is telling me to ascend back to 8,000 after I ignore the ATC instruction and descend for a go around. Now this has happened before so not just a one off. With the upgrade that I did today I was hoping this would not have happened.😝

Yes that is a good idea BUT....if you or he misses the designated / programmed runway exit by landing too far down the runway he will try to go over the grass and even through buildings.I have found the co-pilot to be pretty poor sometimes. If he does takes off he will not follow the programmed/planned course, maybe I am not doing something correct.
  7. Is it possible to toggle off and on the taxi ribbon from the key board. I have looked on key board but cannot see an option to do that. Is it even possible ?
  8. Yes really going really wel, take of landing all sorted. What a great Flight Sim this is, well worth the money even if I did have spend £1,300.00 on new PC. Glad I found this forum very very helpful. Have a great Christmas. Flying to Dubai today via Greece today.

Brilliant, got it, now taking off and landing perfectly, still wobbly on touch down to follow the centre line but I now change to first officer to complete the operation who arrives at the gate perfectly. My next mission is to make a flight plan to take off from the stand, ie push back etc.( how do I do that ? ) Thanks for your help Mr Fuzzy

  12. Thanks MR Fuzzy, more or less have the sensitivity sorted now. Problem I am getting now on short final on ILS with my speed set around 140 and speed hold on about 4 miles from touchdown the speed increases to 150 / 160 and I am unable to land on the runway centre line. If I switch auto pilot off to land manually there is only a tiny movement in the aircraft when I operate the airleons and I miss landing. Strange thing it does not happen every time so I just do not understand what is happening and what I am doing wrong. I have tried a slower speed and that makes it worse as the aircraft will not respond to my controls at slower speeds. Do you think it might be in the the sensitivity again to get more response.? Sorry to have gone on a bit but so close to getting it correct. Cheers, malc

If you alter the "sensitivity" on the joy stick it affects the operation of the aircraft much more than I anticipated, Yes of course I should have known but I am learning by my mistakes and boy have I made some, but no crashes in the last couple of weeks so getting better. Unable to find the TOGA button as yet.

  16. After being able to take off and land at my selected airports using the pre programmed flight for many weeks, I now find that this no longer works. I take off either with the first officer or me taking the controls when I selected auto pilot in the past the flight is controlled and takes me to the destinated airport and on final I took control and landed successfully. This no longer works, after take off when I select "auto pilot" the aircraft no longer takes the correct route and the aircraft just turns right non stop until it loses height and spins to the ground. I have spent hours doing every option on the flight control panel and the options. What went wrong ?? I have selected just about everything in the options and nothing changes please help !
  17. Do you need to turn auto pilot off before final touch down ? I have tried to land with auto pilot on but it is a heavy landing and I have bounced, also do I need to flair or not ? Thanks fellas.
  18. So it's not me that was getting wrong according to the video the sim is not always correct, however after watching the video it is now much clearer what I need to be doing.

  20. I get into a problem when descending and climbing with auto pilot on. I cannot work out the correct procedure for the controlled climb and descent procedure, sometimes I get it right it will climb and descend at the rate of climb or descent I choose or it seems to have a mind of its home, now I suspect there is a correct procedure to get the aircraft to climb as I want it to. I have sometimes not been able to to stop a rapid descent ending with a crash. Turning the auto pilot off and pulling back on the joy stick sometimes is no help at all. What am I doing wrong ?
  21. Ok I think I have solved this. I set my FS to "easy" so you get help taking off and landing and I think that this affects the joy stick on landing when it tries to compensate your input in trying to direct you to where it has been programmed "to help" I changed to " hard" and it now seems ok. Hope this makes sense.

  23. Thanks Bill ..Forget FSX this FS is very complicated well it is to me LOL !! at least i can now take and land although I am having difficulty controlling the aircraft after landing
