  1. I have a 1080 Gysync ,monitor and a GTX 1070 and was getting around 30ish average fps with things moslty on ultra and the sliders for detail at about 125 and render scaling at 150.. But my gpu would heat up to mid 80s . I spent some time away from MSFS and just started re playing it and read this thread and dropped my render scaling setting to 125 and it has added 10-15 more fps on average and also kept my gpu cooler... I have gsync enabled in nvidia control panel set to 144mhz and tried setting vsync on in game set to 30 but it did not make a difference.. So i guess Nvidia control panel overrides msfs in game settings... So atleast in my instance render scaling seems to be the most influential setting for this game.. Maybe thats why its at the top of the screen ? lol/
  2. MY gtx1070 runs at 100% almost constantly in msfs.. so adjusting the power managment in the Nvidia control panel would be pointless ?
  3. I removed the case door from my computer and my gpu ran on average 7c cooler or 44 F cooler.... Its a no brainer,., I dunno why pc makers put doors on these things.. must be to sell fancy cooling systems...
  4. I just ran msfs to double check... And just looking and zooming around the world map my gpu is at 100% and my temp goes from 56c idle to 82c. I just googled my card and unsafe temp is around 94c. So thast about 181 F just looking around the world map and unsafe temp of 200F or so... Only 20 degrees saftey margin... Time to start looking for a liquid cooled GPU...
  5. I have a GTX1070 and it runs at 100% and about 89 C . The card out of the box has a built in fan speed sensor and I assume at high temps its running at 100% because I can hear it.
  6. HI, I just did a complete new windows install and msfs install after being away from MSFS for a few months. While flying the stock TBM I notice that when using my mouse the buttons along the bottom of the g3000 give me a NA message when I hover over them.. Is this because of this new mouse over system or is this a newish bug? Or is my tbm corrupted? Like I said its a new install no custom files or mods..I think those buttons worked the last time I flew msfs so what gives? thanks in advance.
