Honestly, with how expensive PC hardware is, an xbox series x with the newly announced xbox bridge from honeycomb will make a perfect little sim machine. PMDG got their 737 running on it as well. I think if you had said that PMDG would release the 737 on xbox, people would laugh you off the face of the earth :D

Yep, actually if you realize, all the SID for the other runways (02L/20R,02C/20C) have very similar initial climb outs. Mostly on runway heading for a bit and then it will turn them towards their required destination. CHA1C,D in that aspect is no different, initial climb is on runway heading followed by radar vectors to the initial waypoint. More often than not, approach will vector the aircraft off the SID out of changi early so I believe this is one of the reasons why they just implemented a simple radar departure when runway 3 was opened. -

Actually good news, I emailed the devs and they said they will update the scenery once that runway is back for operation! So no need to worry about editing AFCAD! -

More often than not, I would agree with you. But I personally find it a bit pointless to model the center runway closed as when it reopens (and that isn't very far away), it will pretty much render the scenery a pain to use online (vatsim, ivao) and with AI packages. It results in a funny situation where the previous version would technically be more accurate than the newly released version. If this version was released a year or 2 back, I woudnt be complaining. Other than the above mentioned issue, to me it looks like its the exact same scenery as the previous version with no upgrades to any of the buildings or improvements to buildings on the west-side of the airport. (in fairness its not within the airport boundary, but I feel they could have at least furnished Changi village, Aviation Academy and some of the factories along the west boundaries with better autogen placement and some custom buildings). So it comes down to whether you'd like something that is accurate until the end of the year (baring no delays) or don't mind using the inaccurate layout until 02C is back in ops. Now of course if imaginesim mention that they will update the new version when 02C opens, then I can wholeheartedly agree in purchasing this new version. -

Yep fair, actually I believe there were 2 instances, a BA world tour and a AF visit to Changi! I tend to be a bit picky with addons depicting changi, worked there, so just slightly disappointed with the update, at least it’s only a 9.99 update :D -

Afaik, Concorde flew out of paya lebar, Changi only existed as a air base back when they flew in. Also, with regards to the scenery, I'm worried whether Imaginesim will update the airport especially since things are constantly changing at Changi. The center runway is estimated to be reopened towards the end of this year, while the taxiways connecting to 02R/20L are expected to be changed. The pictures they have on the store still shows incorrect taxiway signs which is also concerning tbh. The surrounding scenery looks exactly the same as the old version and lacks details. Time will only tell I suppose whether they will update it further.....
