Font that works fine in Desktop FIP not working in WebFIP
Hi 🙂 I used the Font "7 Segments" in my new Desktop FIP, but found out that it wouldnt work in the WebFIP. In my screenshot the Desktop FIP is on the left. Text well formatted and in the right font (its a screenshot from the editor window, but it works in normal operation too). On the right is the WebFIP - opened in Firefox, but looks the same in the ingame AAO Panel. The font in the LDG ROLL Window is way smaller and uses the default font face. Gauge Sizes are all the same 512x512 in all cases. Did I miss something regarding fonts in WebFIPs? Thanks for clarification 🙂 Cheers J

Default Layer NOT triggering regardless of set layer
Oh i feel humbled, yes that makes all the sense, explains everything and I consider my issue null and void, thank you! I couldn't see the forest for all the trees. Thank you very much for pointing that out, I do have some usecases for that, namely Statesaving and SkyDolly. Luckily I did figure the FOCUS command is what it needs 🙂 But i did did change some SPLIT commands to WAIT, because with SPLIT I experienced that the script would skip over parts that followed the VKD part (where SPLIT is automatically inserted). It does work all the same, but maybe I did something unwise here.

Default Layer NOT triggering regardless of set layer
Yes, one of the the two is a button on the Yoke, the other on the Bravo. I have just realized that, while fiddling with getting a screenshot done, I has temporarily assigned the keyboard keys (Prt Scr), a mishap of the moment. Usually it is POV 180 on the Yoke or something like that. Hence the confusion in the screenshot, sry. I have tried to reassign the Bravo ones, with no luck - except if I do it in a completely new config.

Short Addendum: It only concerns the AP Panel Buttons on the Bravo interestingly. If I reassign anything with the Flap Lever everything is fine.

Default Layer NOT triggering regardless of set layer
Hi! It appears that somehow I managed to have some keybinds, despite being set to the default layer, be on a bewildering "Layer 0" - distinctly not layer "Default" where there is no layer number visible. In my screenshot "AP_APR_HOLD" wont fire if not on default layer. "VR RESET" will as per design. Interestingly all the Layer 0 commands are on the Honeycomb Bravo. If I create a new assignment with the Bravo the command is assigned "Layer 0". If I create it with Midi or Yoke it is working with the default layer not showing this ominous "0" and firing at all set layers. If I edit the keybind and change the layer (either in the overview or edit popup) it doesn't change appearance nor behavior. If I reassign a working "default" keybind created for the Midi and reassign it to the Bravo it also suddenly is a "Layer 0" keybind. When I make a new Config in Offline Mode the problems seems to disappear, but would not know how to get this humongous Config into a new file (apply template or config will just keep on doing the Layer "0" thing). I even checked in the ConfigDatabase (a copy 😄 ) - it says "<ControlLayer>0</ControlLayer>" in those tho example assignments. Also there is no out of place layer visible under in the file or in the GUI under Templates>Manage Control Layers. Have you got a guess as how to resolve this conundrum? 🙂 Many thanks in advance!

Ingame Highlighting of Parts w/ AAO
The use case is VR in MSFS2024 (I got 2020 too, if the encryption of airplane files is an issue). I have programmed I think 4 layers on the AP Controls (with their 5 sub-layers if you will). I actually have build such a cute AAO gauge that shows what is selected, and that works quite well, but anything reducing floating windows in VR is welcome 🙂 (Also its a PITA to adjust to different airplanes, all the image work in photoshop and so on). I was imagining something like highlighting the COM1 / NAV1/ ADF Frequency Knobs or VOR/HDG Bug in lets say the DHC-2 Beaver. If i would rotate the selector through the different Radios the knobs would highlight blue (or even red?! 😄 ). All I got in this quest so far is stumbling over the "HIGHLIGHT_NODE_ID" XML-Tag in the SDK Documentation, but I wouldnt know what to do with it 😄 (e.g. https://docs.flightsimulator.com/msfs2024/html/5_Content_Configuration/Models/ModelBehaviors/TemplateExplorer/Asobo/Generic/Complex/Misc.html?rhhlterm=highlight_node_id&rhsearch=highlight_node_id ) Thank you so much for chiming in! Love your product 🙂 Great fun! (Let me show you the gauge, it also illustrates the sensible options to try to highlight).

Ingame Highlighting of Parts w/ AAO
Hello dear RPN Afficionados, I was curious wether it'd be possible to trigger the highlighting of knobs and elements from an AAO RPN script and if anybody could point me in the right direction? It would be so cool to visualize which knob is beeing targeted by my poor overworked Bravo THQ Rotary Encoder 😄 Thanks in advance, cheers J
