Hi!I have problem with MS ATC at EGLL in FSX Deluxe + Acceleration + Just Flight: Traffic X. When I try to land or take-off from Heatrow, I'm told by default ATC to start/land on runways 09R or 09L. I've tried to set wind both from ~270 or ~90 degrees. I also try change in ADE 1.50 runway properties => primary (09) land/t-off no/no, change primary from 09 to 27, set orphan ILS for 09 runways. And nothing help. I've tried this on UK2000 Heatrow, Ray Smith's EGLL from Avsim and even on borrowed Heathrow from Mega Airports. And I've constant get 09 runways set, although I would like to use set of 27's (commonly used in real life). If anybody had solution or any sugestion is hugely welcome to share this one with me. :)

I have an issue with the default A321 cockpit. Whenever I download an Airbus addon which already has the default a321 cockpit installed, the 'roll bar' of the flight director never works. The 'pitch bar' always works fine but the roll bar is never active in any mode. Anybody know of any fixes for this?

Sorry if a topic already exists like this, I couldn't locate one.... What I'm looking to do is restore EVERY file to do with textures.....after GEX, FTX Global, REX, UTX tests I am not 100% sure I executed the uninstall process properly on each addon..... I think i have congested my FSX and Im loosing FPS.....I would like to restore all original texture files properly and install my selected addons based on my tests CLEAN.... Will the repair function actually do this...sometimes I hear yes sometime I hear no...I kind of scared to do it...Am i jeopardizing anything? -
i hope this isnt the wrong part of the forum to post this. I am having a weird problem when i add or remove weights in the different payload stations in any aircraft in fsx. If i change a value, it automatically goes back to the default weight values and stations after about a second. However, i can still add and remove fuel. Does anyone else have this problem? I trried removing Abacus carrier task force, as i thought it might have something to do with it for some reason, turns out it had no effect. Any ideas?

I tried searching for this; no luck. I heard there was a way to substitute files so the static carriers have working arresting gear and catupults. If it is possible; could someone give a detailed description of how to make the switch? Thanx in advance Donald

I'm getting a lot more serious about flight simulation lately, and since I've always been using vanilla FSX, I think I'd like an upgrade. The C172 is the main choice for me, but I know that most FSX's default aircraft aren't the best. Is the default C172 fine (especially in the flight dynamics), or would an add-on prove quite better?

HiWondering if someone can help me with the open-able doors on this aircraft and where they get their textures. Its not off the fuselage main texture and I have had no luck tracking it down.ThanksJohn

Hi Folks, So, last night i decided to make my operations in the NGX a lil More realistic, instead of doing the defualt thing when i programme my route on the FMC, and just putting Direct (Airport) i decided to actully plan a flight with a good website which plans it for you ETC, and got all the waypoints The route was EGGP-EGSS (via the waypoints) anyway, there i was, flying along, and i reached my first waypoint, NANTI(if my memory serves right), all very well, but then ATC directs me Further East, meaning i hit the parralels to the other waypoints, but not actully "hit" them, and as for the STARS, they were just not being followed, i was very dissapointed with this, and so i was doing some research this morning on the forums, and people were having the same probs,and reccomendations were that of IVAO and VATSIM, or payware products. I want neither IDEALLY, and would rather freeware, now, the people who had the same specs as me were answered with these,declined them, and then the topic went silent, no products mentioned, so... Is there freeware that can route you through waypoints and SIDS/STARS or not? and if there is, a link would be appriciated, but furthermore, do any of the Virtual Captains from the NGX, or even PMDG workers reccomend what is best, even if the answer is Payware or online ATC Thanks Guys Andy PLEASE NOTE,reasons why i do not want some of the options available I do not want the Payware option becasue as of this second, i cannot justify the price IF there is freeware available I do not want the Online option becuase i do not have the space or "Privacy" to be talkin away whenever feels right etc Thanks For your Understanding

Hi! A couple of months ago when i was about to take a flight with the C337 from Carenado i noticed that my FPS dropped dramatically if i looked down in the VC, and it only happened if i was taxiing over some crossing taxilines. It also happens if i am on the runway with a addon scenery as ground texture. The problem with taxiways occurs in addon sceneries and in default. What i have tried Rebuilt fsx.cfg Checked that FSX is running as admin Taken the settings down Restored default REX config Disabled ENB Series Used a default scenery.cfg New driver from Nvidia. Rolled back after that. Using 267.60. That's the one that followed with my Gainward GTX570 "Goes like hell" Could a possibility have been to restore a default terrain.cfg? I am running NickN's 8xSQ Nvidia Inspector settings. My computer should be able to run that. Any inputs? Hi guys, I have a strange problem in saving keyboard/button control in FSX setting menu. Using EZCA I want to delete all default assigned keys/button in FSX, so I enter in settings, controls and erase manually, one by one, all assigned keystrokes. Then click ok and all seems to works fine. When I restar fsx all keystrokes are already there, seems FSX doens't save anything. Any ideas? i am administrator of my system and have full control on files, and my FSX is installed on a separte ssd. By the way....is the a way to delete all assigned keystrokes editing a file? i don't know which is this file that contain keystrokes. Many thanks for your help. -
FOlks, I managed to install VASFMC etc etc etc blah blah blah. I wanted it into my Project Airbus A319 which uses the defualt 321 panel, I WANT THIS. I DO NOT WANT THE VASFMC PANEL! So, i go into my cockpit, and boom, the MCDU is loaded as a pop up. But its not turned on. How do i turn it on? its just a black screen... I try turning the power off and on again, but nothing, just blanked out, no text etc. Any help would be fantastic! Thanks! -Andy

Just converted to Prepar3D v3 and I have to kick myself for not doing it sooner! Has/will cost me some $$$ but well worth it. Nonetheless, the only real problem I'm having in Prepar3D is the sound(s). The noise from other planes on the tarmac AND in the air is so loud that becomes difficult to hear the ATC. I tried to adjust the "sound" settings in the Settings menu but they control every sound other than the issue I'm having. No issues with cockpit/interior sounds and ATC volume is fine. By process of elimination I thought the environmental slider would reduce external sound affects but it doesn't affect this issue. Added Traffic 360 and starting to think that has something to to with it. If so, I'm not sure how to adjust volume there - is there a way? Again, it's just the external jet engine sound that is distracting. Only happens at the gate (as other planes fire their engines) and on the runways as planes take off and land. Today, while flying into New York City area there was a military helo far enough away that I didn't get a proximity warning but I could hear the chopper engines as we passed as fit i were on it... Strange... Has anyone heard of this problem? Is there a fix?

I reinstalled the whole simulator an it got even worse. I tried flying on default scenery and nothing is loading, Not that they take long to load, no they even don't want to load. My sliders are on max and my settings on the AMD Control Center are all on default. I haven't touched my my fsx.CFG file yet. It's not the first time I have reinstalled fsx but this is the first time that this happens..

Hello my name is Clay and this is my first post but I am not "new" to FSX. I was wondering if anyone knows about a sound file which I can swap out for the default CRJ-700. The problem with the default is when is cruise there is this background noise that drives me insane! Is there any sound files that are FREE? I know there is one payware but, well, I don't want to spend 13 bucks to change the sound. I may just put an erj, 717 or any other smaller jets sound file in there. Hey guys, I'm really busy trying to get the PT Tu-154B2 to work, and to get the automatic stabilizer to work, I have to be able to calculate the CG% of the aircraft from the default FSX Fuel & Payload menu. Does anybody know how to do this (may sound a little dumb or silly)? Rafael. -
Hi when I load the pmdg ngx 737-800 in P3D it loads in a status where it is about to take off. When init is completed auto throttle is engaged and the plane start rolling. MCP panel settings are not the default. However in PMDG setup i specified Default NGX as the startup panel state. If I immediately pause the game and go into the FMC setup menu and I load the NGX Default state from there, I do get the normal state (with auto throttle off etc) Press execute and it loads normally This is however the startup state in my FMC setup, so it should do this right from the start: I have also saved this "normal" state as user defined state "jacques" and specified this to be the startup state, but this doesn't work either, when loading the plane, it still comes in the "autostart to be engaged" mode. (but again manually loading this state after startup does work) It looks like the panel state is ok by itself (because when I manually load it it is ok) But it looks like this state is not the state loaded during startup, I have nu clue on what state is loaded during startup. What can I do to have P3D start with the "NGX default panel state" ??? Regards Jacques Schenk
