  1. Hi all, I'm a former FSX flight simmer turned electronic music producer, and I'm looking for input from the community. I only stopped simming because it seemed impossible for so long to get an NVIDIA GPU for a PC build so I could get back into it, especially once FS 2024 got released! I'm working on my next project: An electronic/melodic song built around the feeling of lining up and taking off. I want to capture the anticipation, tension, and energy of that sequence in a way that feels authentic to pilots and simmers. What sounds, moments, or details would you want to hear? I've been able to generate convincing ATC instructions dialogue, but have not yet tried to mimic pilot to F.O checks during procedures. For a take-off, there will be an opportunity to explore that, with the hold short, line up, take off clearance, 80 knots, V1, rotate, positive rate gear up, ATC departure instructions, etc. Is there anything else that you would want to hear that immediately gives you that "we're flying" feeling? Keep in mind I aim for emotion in my music. There are also limits to what soundscapes I can blend in, and wind noise is always tricky as it crushes the clarify of the final mix. I'm especially interested in the sounds (instruments, sound effects) or moments that would make you really connect with it. I know not everyone like electronic music, but it you do I'd love to hear from you. Thanks, Simflyer
