I have been using this add-on for about two weeks. I have used AS in both 2020/2024. I believe AS was in the hay day in 2020 when the API was more open. However, it 2024 it appears the AS and Strata do not have the same capabilities as 2020. I fly with both during different times to see the difference. I will say, I prefer Strata over AS at this point because the cloud textures and meshing that happens within the cloud layers. I.E. if you are supposed to be flying in a layer from FL 18-28 and it is a constant cell, you will remain in the clouds until breaking out. I have noticed almost every time I start there is an update, so it appears to still be evolving. Compared to only using AS for a mixture of MSFS Live weather and AS for turb and enviro input, I see a more capable system with Strata at the moment being able to integrate better into the system.
