We are less than two weeks away from the beginning of this fantastic event and we really look forward to open the celebrations on Monday, July 23rd during the "VFR Day" theme with the Pattern Work Competition!! I just want to give a huge shout out to the controllers of Vatsim that made the Light Up America event a success. I only flew one flight today during the event, but I was handled in a professional and courteous way. Socal tracon did a great job. Does anyone else have any stories or experiences that they would like to share from today's event?
