Recommended Posts

Well..we are off...my invisible instructor and myself...equally invisible...lol

We just left KBOS, and are heading out along the south coast...more shots to follow...

This scenery created exclusively, by Mr. Tony Wob....of the Avsim XP Forum.

....so, now for some serious exploring of the State of Massachusetts, a' la Tony Wob, and via XPX.42 (new version, since yesterday).

Again, thank you so much, Tony...

Well...I'm learning...not so great with a kiss touch-down, quite yet...lol.  Learning....

HL, Tony's work shows itself, at or near the deck...the level of detail in this scenery pack, is quite unbelievable....

Tony Wob's Massachusetts  Pro....get it!   :Big Grin:

Great shots, this is exactly what this sort of scenery is meant for, low and slow (and even better in a helicopter). Helis are a real challenge which is why I keep coming back for more. Once you've nailed you're first successful landing or smooth hover, it's quite addictive.

Thank you , Tony;

I am always a B.S-free communication zone...

...that being said, Tony...I uh...well..how much do you think the chopper I was learning in er..ah...was worth...?!?!?

I wiped out, after trying to land this beaut.   I'm sure glad the school out of KBOS, can't refund me my lesson deposit....you should have seen the smoke and dirt, as the rotors plowed up the earth...not good...not......good, lol

Will learn to get it good though! :)  That...is for sure...call me a bull-dog....

Cheers,

As you can see...having a blast with your creation....

Tony, I just filled up a fresh mug of coffee...fired back up XPX.42 (you know about the update, right?), and am skimming your creation at about 1,000 feet.

For anybody else, Tony is so right...don't do this scenery in a plane...but by chopper....my gawd...the detail, that he put into this...and the detail that can be displayed by XPX.42...is mind-blowing!

I'll have many more pictures, but will store them, and post over the next few days...

I am easily pulling 29/31 FPS at 1,000 feet with the sim at full settings, and it is simply drop-dead gorgeous.  Well, that's about it, for today...am going to get back into the chopper..and try to stay alive, after a landing...somewhere, in the great State of Massachusetts!

BTW, 'choppin' through the air, ain't your grand-daddy's plane hop....uh..nope.
