Keystrokes in RC

Featured Replies

Good Morning gentsI am running FSX with RC on a networked PC, using WideFS and Showtext. Is it possible to have the keystrokes on the PC with RC installed, instead of the FSX PC. The problem is the the keystrokes are duplicated with some actions used by FSX ie doors and screens.I've also experienced some irregularities with Aerosofts Hannover and Wilco's emb170/190, in that when landing. The Tower gives me a go around stating the gear is not lowered when it is.many thanksLaurie

you can change the rc keys to something else, so they aren't duplicateswhen do you lower your gear? if the gear problem persists, create a .log, instructions pinned to the top of the forum, and send me the .logjd

The gear should be down and locked about five miles out.Is this problem exclusive to Hannover? If so you might have a scenery/AFCAD issue where RC does not have the right distance to the runway in its scenery database. Have you run the rebuild database since installing Hannover? It could also be a scenery priority issue. For keystroke assignments I would go through your FS and other add-on assignments and delete what you do not need. Then go into the RC4 key assignments menu and setup non-conflicting combinations.

the steak dinner check is made at 2.0 - 2.1 miles from the airportjd

Thanks JD & Ron for the reply. For the keystrokes, I'll recheck the assignments. The only small problem is where say the shift d+2 or combinations are used. Not a big issue. I was just thinking more along the lines of the control of RC going back to the PC with RC installed. In regards to the scenery, I ran the rebuild again and shall do another run to check what happens. The gear was definately down prior to 2 miles, but I will do a debug if the issue continues, and ask you to have a look.many thanksLaurie
