What do you do if you're "in between" flip cards?

Featured Replies

Which card do you use if your T/O or landing wight numbers fall in between flip card numbers on the 757? Do you assume the higest weight of the 2 cards? ThanksChris

Hi Chris!Since no one answered officially, I'll tell you what I do.I average the speeds between the weights. Not sure if that's correct, but when I used to fly a Cessna 172, I would average the figures (in this case, fuel burn vs altitude). I'm guessing it puts us somewhere in the correct speed zone.Regards,

Chris,Personally, I would go to the next higher card. I would rather be a little Fast than Too Slow.RegardsPaul:-cool

Yeah Jim,That's exactly what you do, you interpolate the two cards, just like you interpolate the tables.John S. MorganReal World: KSFF, Cessna 152 994JP, Student 16+ hours.Virtual: Fly!II, KPHX, AWVA, PMDG Boeing 757-200.
