April 1, 200323 yr Reading about the option for -800 and -900 made me wonder if PMDG will continue the fleet down to the -200 through -500 series after completing the project. While it has been attempted before it's clear that it has not been done to the level that it's clear this project is aiming for. Having ther aircraft already modeled albeit the NG series would probably facilitate the effort. I for one would be very interested. The notion of switching back and forth from new to old technology is appealing. Pedro
April 2, 200323 yr Commercial Member Pedro-This project specifically is designed to bring the entire Next Generation series of 737s to the market. There are currently no plans to work backward through the earlier parts of the 737 series. We have not yet entertained any discussion as to what airliner we will model after we complete this one.Heck- right now our primary concern is to finish the 600/700 airplane, complete the 800/900 airplane, the BBJ/BBJ2, a HUD flight system and a few other interesting (and not yet announced) equipment additions.Once we are through all of those items- we'll take a look at which jetliner we want to do next.... :-coolI've never been one to say, "Never."(Oh wait...that was a pretty good word play! Get it? I've "never" been one to say "never?" hahhahahaa.... Sigh... I must need more time away from the computer when I start thinking THAT is funny....)Robert S.
