I am sure this is not new, but I can't search the forum past 1 month.Under XP, a blank square will appear whenever the 777 FMC is invoked. The square has no handle nor a 'X' to close. It just sits there, blocking the FMC.It has been there for a while and I didn't bother to look into it util now. Has anybody encountered the same thing? Any fix?Thanks,Michael Tan

I just ran the 777 on Fly!2, and could not duplicate what you said. I am on WinXP as well...Could you give us more details? Steps to reproduce? Screenshot?

Here is the screen dump. Notice the blank tile on the left hand cornet. It has no handle, can't do anything to it. It appeared when the 777 started to roll down on the runway. FMC programmed.Michael Tanhttp://forums.avsim.com/user_files/16052.jpg

Michael-Thanks for the capture...that helps...A couple of things I would check right off the top:1) Are you on the MOST recent update to FLY!II? There were some problems similar to what you show in earlier versions. They were able to fix most of them with the last major update...2) Drivers/Display adapter? What are you using?

Michael-that square box you're seeing is a Fly!2 window. Press SpaceBar to remove the menubar, so you can see where that window starts, and/or drag it out of the way (and close it, possibly).You must have invoked this by pressing a button-combination, somehow...This is not a PMDG-related issue, though...Cheers,
