June 10, 200322 yr Hey all,i just thought I should bring some serious attention to a very unrealistic part of this package that i know has ruinned the visuals and model for me!I bring your attention to the 2nd screenshot on the "For Ken =)" topic. On the view of the radios etc....... I noticed that there is a highlighter pen which I dont think has real markings! :-) :-) :-) :-)Guy I want to say how amazing your product is and how much sleep im going to loose flying it, on top of the amount im already loosing now thinking about it :-)Take a BIG holiday after you finish! You deserve it!All the very bestSimonPlease take this the right way - hehe! I know your stressed guys - sorry if that was not tasteful.

June 11, 200322 yr Commercial Member Simon-I'll forward your complaint on to the manufacturer of the pen and ask if they can update their markings to meet your specifications...HehehehehehehehYou had me for a minute, Simon! Funny! http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/hanged.gif Robert S. Randazzo PLEASE NOTE THAT PMDG HAS DEPARTED AVSIM You can find us at: http://forum.pmdg.com
June 27, 200322 yr Alright, poking at Vin and Robert will result in a weeks delay of release to make the pin functional with correct labeling.;-)...Good Day.Jay BirchCFI,CFII,MEIMobile, ALwww.clearedasfiled.com
June 27, 200322 yr Commercial Member Jay..We have been consulting with multiple pen manufacturers on the correct design and labeling of HiLiters...As soon as we recieve the 10 terabytes of pen CAD designs, we will attempt to implement it into the cockpit. This unfortunately will require an entire redesign of the flight model to compensate for the pen's complexity. In addition, we will need to seek out and employ at least 30 additional beta testers to ensure that the pen is properly situated.Stay tuned... I know that this will probably take at least seven months to finish, but I know you will appreciate the detail of the pen when it is finally built into the airplane!VinPMDGwww.precisionmanuals.comhttp://www.vinscimone.com/dancnkid.gif Vin Scimone Precision Manuals Development Group www.precisionmanuals.com
June 27, 200322 yr LOL!Very nicely put. That was funny.A BIC or mechanical pencil would have sufficed....Good Day.Jay BirchCFI,CFII,MEIMobile, ALwww.clearedasfiled.com
June 27, 200322 yr Well you know PMDG never compromises on quality...If you move the highlighter, do you auto compute the load balance on the plane? Does it affect FPS, because jeebus knows we don't want to reduce FPS ...http://saltydogfly2.avsim.net/images/avsim_sig.jpg
June 27, 200322 yr Weight and balance is a big concern here. If we figure on passenger load and fuel data; computing from the datum and the determining where the actual CG of the aircraft is, do we leave the Normal category or step into Utility if the pin is moved to the dash as opposed to the center console? If so, can we spin the jet then in Utility? What if the pen moves! Now I have to start all over again with the E6B and compute the new W/B data. You must have this done for us in the FMS.Man, the fun you can have on the PMDG forums, or just giving Vin a hard time!:-beerchug...Good Day.Jay BirchCFI,CFII,MEIMobile, ALwww.clearedasfiled.com
