July 4, 200322 yr Hello,From what I understand you should be able to press 'delete' and then the field, which you don't want. For example LCY. Press Delete, which will show at the bottom of the FMC and then press the left hand button my LCY. This will then delete LCY from the flight plan.If enter a waypoint that has more then one option, but you don
July 4, 200322 yr Hi Uwe,there are various possible explanations for what you're experiencing. The first one is, that the waypoint simply isn't in the database, otherwise you should be able to find it in the list, the coordinates should be very similar to your flightplan.Second, I had a problem with the navdata when I first installed the 737. I didn't install the Airac cycle from www.navdata.at , because I already had PIC navdata installed, and thought it wasn't needed. But then I did a short flight over Germany, and found to my surprise, that according to the ND, Bremen, Manchester, Dublin and Ottawa were all within a 20-mile radius :). So I downloaded and installed the newer navdata and everything was fine.If you still can't find your waypoint, you can enter the coordinates manually in the FMC, just remember not to use punctuation and spaces, to include leading zeroes (i.e. E9 = E009), and round the seconds to one digit.Cheers,Gosta.http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg
July 4, 200322 yr There are a few ways to accomplish this. As Kimberly has said by selecting *DELETE* into the scratchpad and then line selecting it's LSK (Line select key adjacent on the left) or another way is to select the waypoint AFTER the one you wish to remove into the scratchpad, then line select the unwanted waypoint, what this does is MOVE UP all remaining waupoints without causing a route discontinuity because you are replacing from the route. For your other question you can change the ND (Navigation display) from the EFIS to PLAN MODE, and use the STEP PROMPT on the FMC to get an idea of the correct place on the map, if like you said it's close to your departure it will not be drawn so far off on the map.[h5]Best Wishes,Randy J. July 5, 200322 yr It only show the first five NDB, check if the one that you want it isn't the 6th or 7th listed in the AIRAC. It's bug and they are working on it.CheersJos
July 5, 200322 yr Uwe,You cannot delete the active wpt. Try inserting the right one over the active. This will work. The step is only available when the ND is in plan modehope this helpsanthonyAnthony MertonPrecision Manuals Developmenthttp://www.precisionmanuals.com
