July 9, 200322 yr I'm just cruising to PHX right now when my airspeed indicator just dropped to 30. As you can see i'm still doing .788 but it keeps fluctuating between .76 and .81 without any input from me. I just checked and now it says fuel imbalance in the right tank. Any suggestions or explinations for whats going on? thanksJustin P.http://forums.avsim.com/user_files/22204.jpg

July 9, 200322 yr Interesting because i flew almost a five hour flight last night and i had no problems with the airspeed indicator. I'm aware of the fuel imbalance being a known issue...
July 9, 200322 yr Do you have icing turned on in your FSUIPC settings for weather. This will cause you to loose you airspeed indication. I had this and turned off icing and never had it again.Hope this helps,Sean

July 9, 200322 yr Try not using it and see if you have this particular problem, I bet you won't ;), it's being looked into, but for now you will not have this problem if you disable AS.[h5]Best Wishes,Randy J. July 9, 200322 yr HmmSeems to me there is icing in the conditions created by the AS.It's not a problem in the AS, but problem in the anti-icing system.Tero PPL(A)

July 9, 200322 yr It's a problem with pitot heat, not activeSky. I never had it with other planes since December when I got it...how can you say that. Anyway the time it happened to me switching on anti-ice on the overhead for engines and wing cleared it up and speed went back to normal. It happened only once passing through clouds while descending and never had it since.Regards,Bjorn
July 9, 200322 yr Well this is good that everyone inputs here so we can trace it down correctly, I think Tero is on to something, it ONLY happens to me with Active Sky, that's not to limit it to that completly, but for me only.
