Hi,I ended up in the position of having both the 9700 Pro and the Geforce 4 Ti4600. One weekend I experimented between the two, and discovered that for pretty much everything the ATI is a better card. For flight sims, the 9700 Pro wins hands down - both IL2 and FS2002 loves this card. I get good stable frame rates. Clouds don't cause my machine to stutter anymore!The Ti4600 is still a good card, it's in my work machine for um, productivity enchancement retreats after work with IL2. Running it at 1600 x 1200 it looks good and runs good with anti-aliasing turned off.Yeah Ken, I guess ATI is the flavor of the month :)Tim Dobrowolsky

Thanks for your thoughts Tim.Dabs ran out of the single 9500 pro they had, so tomorrow I'm taking delivery of a Sapphire Radeon 9500 128 (non-pro) and will try the softmod.Of course I'll let you know whether it works... ;)Alex
