Installing 737NG in both FS2002 and FS2004?

Featured Replies

I intend to keep my current FS2002 installation in addition to FS2004, since I have a lot of add-ons that I will not be able to transfer..at least not right away.My question is can I have 737NG installed in both versions of the flightsim, or will that create registration issues?

Hi Paul,Thanks for this answer.Just a clarification question if I may:I have just installed FS2004, and un-installed FS2002. I intend to re-install FS2002 on a new HD partition (different h/w in same PC), so that for this interim time I can run both. But both will be in diferent partitions / HD's.I have done the trasfer license thing, and will be re-installing the 737NG soon into FS2004 and then re-registering with you. However, will this same registration code that I get from you also work for FS2002 in the different HD location? Thanks,Bruce.

Jawohl! My name is Claus. Now, please tell me which other topics? Or do I have to go through all the topics to figure this out?Claus

Indeed it would be nice if someone told us how exactly to install under fs2002 and fs2004.Suppose I do install under fs2004 and complete the registration, after that I want to install under Fs2002 also, will my registration automatically be recognised or do I have to take some actions?Normally I would perhaps fly under Fs2004 only but as Fsnav is not compatible with Fs2004 I will have the possibility to fly under Fs2002 and Fs2004 as well.Hans v.d. Tord, thank you for your very helpful reply. So - if I understand the posts correctly, I would: 1) download the 3 files installation files from PMDG again2) install the 737NG in FS20043) use the same registration key as was provided for the original FS2002 installation of the 737NG.and then end up with 2 functioning 737NGs - one in the FS2002 directory and one in the FS2004 directory. Is this correct? (sorry to be so dense but the multi-step registration requirements imposed by PMDG makes MS look positively user-friendly in comparison):-newburn Claus

Claus, you
