Uuhmm, does it actually work for you? Just tried beating the world record for consecutive keystrokes but the only thing that happened is that the main passenger door has overheated after a world record number of consecutive openings and closings.I really can't get the cargo doors to open. We're talking about those things that they throw your bags into, right? I've tried several models, including the PMDG ones, but I really can't get it to work!?Leo Bakker

Leo -I posted this same question awhile ago. I have tried many things...but still can't get the cargo doors to open. I can open other aircraft cargo doors (iFDG, etc) but not PMDG. Still working on it...

okay first assign your door key to , or something with only one key to open it. This is a must to make it easy. Then first you must press , to open the main door. after main door completely opens, press, and hold it down and then press 2 and hold it down, now you should be holding down , and 2 key at same time, now release , but keep the 2 key held down firm. Then the cargo door should open and release 2 key. Try that it works for me everytime. I think PSS came up with that idea. Tell me how it works for you, and remember this is a quick process don't take forever to do it, but don't rush. [email protected]

Hi Adam,Thanks for the info. Just tried it, however, I'm sorry to say my success rate went up from zero to only about 25 %. So while I have seen now what I should get, it doesn't work for me every time :-( Also I noticed that the aft entry door opens together with the cargo doors, but that the light for the aft entry door on the overhead panel is linked to the forward door. Now, I have this cunning plan to turn these two weaknesses into a major new selling feature for PMDG :-)Hi PMDG,Seriously guys, would it be possible to link the respective overhead light to its door, so that pushing the light would open or close the door? I know it's completely unrealistic, but spending about half an hour to get a door to open really takes the fun out of it. I won't be upset if this doesn't make it in the first patch :-) but could you consider it at least for the 800/900?Leo Bakker

VinIt is quite tricky to get the doors to open. If you use the default SHIFT+E+1 or 2 or 3 or any number it recognises this as SHIFT+E only and opens and closes the main door only. Not until I reassigned my Door open/close to just E I got the hang of it. You have to press E and then 2 and keep it pressed for quite some time. I don't know if this is a timing error but I have not had difficulties with default aircraft. On another note. How the **** do I unfold the airstairs? They are only modelled on the -700 right? Can I chose any of the three -700s? How hard I have been trying to, I can't seem to release it. AHA!! Finally!!! It is really a bit tricky, but finally got the cargo doors to open. I have my door key assigned to "d"...I press "d", hold and press 2...hold for about 3 seconds and they open. Then it took me a couple minutes to get them to close :( Well, at least I got it to work!
