How can i load flightplans to the FMC?

Featured Replies

Hi Guys! How can i load flightplans to the FMC?I downloaded the flightplans from navdata.at and put it in the PMDG flightplans folder. But from FMC dont know how to load the flightplan. Can anyone help me?

To load a flightplan simply find out what the filename of the routeis, then in the FMC go to the ACT RTE page and put the filename into the box named CO ROUTEAnd there you go , flightplan loaded.Have a good flight

If you're lucky...All i get when i attempt this is "NOT IN DATABASE" even though i know for a fact that i've got the correct file name and the flightplan is definitely in the PMGDFLIGHTPLANS directory. No help from PMDG (supprise, supprise), just hope the "patch" sorts this one out...Gary

Guys, I don't remember it being said anywhere that we could use PIC 767's flight plans? We use PIC's Nav data for waypoints etc, if you wish to import/build flight plans, you will need to use FSBuild which converts to the correct *format*...[h5]Best Wishes,Randy J. Cheers Randy for the quick response..Im searching now....ThanksKeith

GaryThere is only on flightplan for PMDG at Navdata- It's a flight between LOWI and HESH. I'm attaching a zip-file containing the flightplan to this message. Extract it to your folder PMDGFlightplans. The name of it is LOWIHESH001.RTE so you should enter LOWIHESH in COROUTE on the RTE page in the CDU. Hope it helps,

>Does FS Build have the option to save it into the PMDG 737>format yet?>yes, it does. Even the Freeware FSBuild was updated to support PMDG 737 (v 1.4.3)HansJuergen

Regarding the "Not in Database" message, I get this one for each FSBuild 2.1 flightplan I load, but it is just a message. I just CLR it away in the FMC, the plan is just fine anyway, no problem to activate, modify and fly it.
