Flightplan import?

Featured Replies

Hi, is there a way to import a flightplan into the FMC? I've saved a .rte file in ...fs2002PMDGflightplans, but can't find a way to get it into the FMC. I've scanned all the docs I know of, and haven't found the method... Thanks in advance. Dick Bixler

Yes, you can import :) if you know the filename of the .rte file, you have all of the information that you need.In your FMC, hit the RTE button. Enter the filename into the FMC, and then press the LSK by the COROUTE (2L), and it should load the FP right up.

it looks like the FMC has problems with some destinations or waypoints.flying from LSZH to LPMA you will notice that LPMA does not exist for PMDG's FMC. if you create the route with FSBuild 14 using LPFU at the time you import the route i get something like "err line 23 "somehow, the FMC has a patch needed ;)
