My guage folder is still all screwed up! I would rename them but i want to make sure I have the correct file names, any chance of emailing me the file names for both 2002 and 2004, I will do it the hard way! I want to fly this aircraft! Here are the copy of my 2004 folders just in case we can get this fixed for future use! Mark Tolkaczhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/27870.txthttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/27871.txt
August 3, 200322 yr Commercial Member Mark-I'm still researching this little "artifact."I'll be candid and tell you that it is a problem in WinME. The folks who make the installer software we use responded by instructing me to "upgrade to WinXP. WinME has more holes than cheese."Nice.... That answer was unhelpful, wasn't it?I'll keep looking for a solution for you. Robert S. Randazzo PLEASE NOTE THAT PMDG HAS DEPARTED AVSIM You can find us at: http://forum.pmdg.com
August 4, 200322 yr Commercial Member Mark-On the other hand- I have an experiment for you:Download THIS version of the service update please:http://www.precisionmanuals.com/downloads/...ION_SU1_ALT.ZIPI have build this patch using an older version of our installer software. Let me know if this solves the problem for you please? Robert S. Randazzo PLEASE NOTE THAT PMDG HAS DEPARTED AVSIM You can find us at: http://forum.pmdg.com
August 4, 200322 yr RobertI know you're busy and everything but could you tell us if this is a general problem affecting all WinME installations or will it only occur in some circumstances. I am running a WinME system and am unsure of which patch I should download - the main one or the alternative one you posted above.
August 4, 200322 yr Well Robert did post that for him to try because of instalation issues with windows me renaming files etc, so my guess it to give it a try ;)[h5]Best Wishes,Randy J. August 4, 200322 yr Commercial Member Craig-Try the ALT version first... If it runs on your system without error- at least it will help me to know that....Let me know! Robert S. Randazzo PLEASE NOTE THAT PMDG HAS DEPARTED AVSIM You can find us at: http://forum.pmdg.com
August 4, 200322 yr RobertOkay, I'll do that. Unfortunately I'm at work at the moment (its midday here in Oz) so it will be some hours before I'll be able to try it.
August 4, 200322 yr The alternative installer worked without any problems on my WinME system. I ran the remove tool first. It didn't prompt me a second time for the FS2002 install directory, nor did it prompt me for a new location for the license info, but despite this the installation was successful.
August 4, 200322 yr MarkThis has been resolved in another thread:http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...12114&mode=fullHope it helps, (it did for me!) ;-) Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
