October 3, 200322 yr Its the radial of the VOR dialed in to your nav 1 radio and course to and from as set on the MCP.It only seems to show up if you toggle the vor's on efis(even if you toggle it off after), it should show up normally without selecting vor on efis though.
October 3, 200322 yr Author Thanks Wallace! I thought it had something to do with the VOR radial - It's just i've never seen it before until now..!!Mats, you tease!

October 5, 200322 yr Commercial Member Wallace-I just retried this. As soon as the VOR tuned in NAV1 or NAV2 is in range, it shows up on your MAP display with its associated radials, regardless of whether the EFIS switch is toggled on or not.If you can come up with an example (reproducible please!) where this isn't the case, I'd love to take a look.Cheers, Lefteris Kalamaras - Founder www.flightsimlabs.com
October 5, 200322 yr - Using FS9 and the 737-700 with SU1-1- Starting from a cold & dark situation- Sitting on the ground in Halifax (CYHZ)- Power up the aircraft- Tune NAV1 to YHZ VOR (115.1)- VOR is to the East at about 5dme.- While the VOR pointer point toward the VOR it is not visible on the ND.- Press the STA switch. The VOR appears with the radial line.- Press the STA switch again and the STA disappears from the ND but the YHZ VOR remains with the radial line intact.Same thing happens for me wether in the air or on the ground.
October 5, 200322 yr Lefteris I can reproduce this in any situation. Im running in win xp pro.FS9.SU-1.Non registered fsuipc 3.10.I only see the radial after I press the STA on EFIS (radial stays when STA is toggled off), only with nav 1 radio though. One other question ,is the POS on efis functional? if it is Im not seeing anything, S/B green vectors off the nose of the aircraft pointing to the vor's tuned to nav1, nav2.
October 5, 200322 yr Commercial Member Gents-good catch. I had already pressed the "STA" button, so things had been initialized already.I'll hop to it. ;-) Lefteris Kalamaras - Founder www.flightsimlabs.com
