October 21, 200322 yr I"m looking in the Advanced Flight Tutorial 1.01 by Timothy Metzinger.Page 44 Figure 29 Look at the panel in Figure 29.There is two guages next to the right of the test blocks on this panel. One looks like a "aircraft view", the other is very small and may be a "clock".These guages/views are not on panels. Is this a special addon byTimothy Metzinger? Nothing referenced to the ops manuals.Popi Bill Taylor
October 21, 200322 yr Hey PopiThese buttons are not standard on the sim. I think mr Metzingerhas added these for his own purpose.I havn't seen any topics about this in the forum.BrgdsJan FredrikSAS807
October 21, 200322 yr >Thanks Jan>>Perhaps Tim will give us the info.>>PopiWithout a pic, I can only speculate.I've added two buttons to my cockpit - one brings up the FSMeteo weather display (it looks like a block that says WX). The other has a pair of LEDs by it and that is for the AVSIM ATCSERVINFO gauge for use when flying with virtual ATC.
October 22, 200322 yr Author Hi TimothyO K Thanks for the panel info. Perhaps we can get these added to a later SU. ThanksPopi Bill Taylor

October 22, 200322 yr >> Maybe Tim can share with you have he added those pop up>Gauges for Vatsim etc, they will not become a part of the>official panel now or in the future.Yep.These are third-party add-ons, and PMDG couldn't add them even if they wanted to (and why would they want to... there ain't no such thing in the REAL 737).When SU2 comes out and I redo the tutorial, I'll put in a page with the mods for panel.cfg to add the FSMeteo gauge, just as I did with the adding of the audio panel.
October 22, 200322 yr Is there any chance of getting this gauges as I fly with fs metro and mainly fly online. Jeffg
October 22, 200322 yr If I understand Tim correctly the FS Meteo gauge is called FS Meteo Weather display and can be bought from www.fsmeteo.com ( /Tord Hoppe, Sweden
October 22, 200322 yr Tim,Quote Does this mean we are going to be treated to a new tutorial?I hope so. Your work is excellent. Even if it is just an additional section at the end, it will be the iceing on the cake of SU2 for me.Thanks,Paul ( SPIM )
