Do you have these two panel gauges?

Featured Replies

I"m looking in the Advanced Flight Tutorial 1.01 by Timothy Metzinger.Page 44 Figure 29 Look at the panel in Figure 29.There is two guages next to the right of the test blocks on this panel. One looks like a "aircraft view", the other is very small and may be a "clock".These guages/views are not on panels. Is this a special addon byTimothy Metzinger? Nothing referenced to the ops manuals.Popi

Hey PopiThese buttons are not standard on the sim. I think mr Metzingerhas added these for his own purpose.I havn't seen any topics about this in the forum.BrgdsJan FredrikSAS807

>Thanks Jan>>Perhaps Tim will give us the info.>>PopiWithout a pic, I can only speculate.I've added two buttons to my cockpit - one brings up the FSMeteo weather display (it looks like a block that says WX). The other has a pair of LEDs by it and that is for the AVSIM ATCSERVINFO gauge for use when flying with virtual ATC.

Is there any chance of getting this gauges as I fly with fs metro and mainly fly online. Jeffg

If I understand Tim correctly the FS Meteo gauge is called FS Meteo Weather display and can be bought from www.fsmeteo.com (

Tim,Quote Does this mean we are going to be treated to a new tutorial?I hope so. Your work is excellent. Even if it is just an additional section at the end, it will be the iceing on the cake of SU2 for me.Thanks,Paul ( SPIM )

Here's what I've added to panel.cfg... I've put the section title in and then followed with the lines added. Attached is the newguage gauge which has the wx display icon[Window Titles]Window16=Weather DisplayWindow17=ATC Info[Window01] // PMDG_MAIN_PANELgauge24=NewGauge!Weather Display Icon, 614,593,30,30gauge25=servinfo!toggle, 612,544,50//--------------------------------------------------------[Window16] // FSMeteo Display - TMMfile=737fsmwd.bmp file_1024=737fsmwd.bmp size_mm=300,339window_size_ratio=1.000 position=0visible=0ident=110render_3d_window=0window_size= 0.160, 0.290window_pos= 0.570, 0.700gauge00=fs_meteo, 0,0,300,339//--------------------------------------------------------[Window17] //Servinfo Display - TMMBackground_color=0,0,0 size_mm=320,400position=0visible=0ident=12777gauge00=servinfo!list, 0,0,320

Thanks Tim as I am buying the WX Display gauge today and do you have a way to install the Ariane TCAS Gauge into the panel? Jeffg

>Thanks Tim as I am buying the WX Display gauge today and do>you have a way to install the Ariane TCAS Gauge into the>panel?> JeffgNo, but if you buy me a copy of the gauge I'll try and work it out
