October 24, 200322 yr I have been flying the 737 all over the place in FS2k2. I have finally decided to add FS9 to my computer and also add the 737. When I go to create a flight I get PMDGoptions.dll error. I installed the 737 and SU1 making sure to click the FS9 boxes on the install program. Can somone help me out? I also have not put FSUIPC on for FS9 (not starting the debate on the payware) I just cannot afford it. If i just put the unregistered version will that satisfy that problem?Oh and I still have the 737 in 2k2 will not delete that for sometime to come is this a problem. Thanks for any helpAndrew Andrew
October 24, 200322 yr Is this during the loading of the program or are you already inside fs9 and creating a flight? If it's during loading of fs9, you might have to add the PMDGOptions to the oldmodules section in fs9.cfg.
October 24, 200322 yr >If it's during loading of fs9, you might have to add the PMDGOptions >to the oldmodules section in fs9.cfgThis should not be necessary. The PMDGOptions will sense which version of FS it installs to.Do a complete remove of the NG in FS9 and reinstall it from scratch.Make sure you only check the FS9 options in the installer and keep an eye out for any messages, errors or others.Hope it helps, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
October 26, 200322 yr Author Well I totally removed FS9, then reinstalled FS9 and the 737 being very careful to follow the directions and click only the FS9 items. The options dll message was there again so I deleted it from the modules file. Of course I have no options availible in the game. Also my VC is screwy there are gauges everywhere and I can see through the MCP. I have no idea what the problem is. I have had no problems in FS2k2.P4 3.0 ghzATI 9800 3.7 drivers1.5 gb ramSoundblaster audigy2Andrew Andrew
October 26, 200322 yr Author I figured out I needed to add the full su1 update so most of my problems are solved. FMC err: FMN unknownThis is what I receive when I put KPHX in the rte destination page. Can anyone help on this. I cant believe the trouble FS9 is giving me. I am not sure it is worth the effortAndrew Andrew
October 26, 200322 yr Andrew, You also need to make sure you have NAVDATA installed into FS9. If you have the data already and see airports etc then your issue is with the SID file you have (KPHX). If you remeove that SID it should allow you to choose a runways etc for KPHX..[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smithhttp://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-5/196432/winglets_lg.jpg Randy J Smith
