November 10, 200322 yr I purchased the 737 600 series and installation went very well. When I go to get my registration number inside of FS9 once the plane is loaded, the software tells me this is no longer necessary. So I am at a lost as to weather I have to register or not or if this process has been automated.Ronald Lefebvre

November 10, 200322 yr Commercial Member Ronald,Registration is no longer necessary if you have installed the SU1-1 update. It install the latest and greatest securtiy system which will only prompt you toregister when it feels the installation may be illegal. I'll Bop Vin on the head and bring him up to date :-lolRegardsPaul GollnickTechnical Operations/Customer Operational SupportPrecision Manuals Development Groupwww.precisionmanuals.com Paul Gollnick Manager Customer/Technical Support Precision Manuals Development Group www.precisionmanuals.com
November 13, 200322 yr I was confused by this too, and I develop software for a living so I consider myself reasonably "computer literate". I imagine this has confused quite a few people too. In one place, the directions say that registration isn't necessary, but the web site still says you need to go to the "Extend Registration" option in the game. That option still exists, a fact which reinforces the worry that maybe you do still need to submit a reg key. I tried it, and nothing happened, so I thought maybe something was wrong. Maybe a popup window should appear saying that no registration is necessary? Just a suggestion.-Ross
November 13, 200322 yr Maybe you missed Paul's point, it's not needed until a time it detects something wrong (improper installation on mulitple computers etc) but in general the instructions on the Web site should be improved but you know that even then people do not always read the instructions ;) [h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. November 13, 200322 yr I'm not sure if I missed his point or not, or that it matters ... all I know is the conflicting instructions and the presence of a menu option that literally does nothing, is confusing.
