Featured Replies

does anyone know if we will have to pay for the su-2(737-800/900), or will it be an addon for those of us who have the 737-600/700 base pack?just wonderingregardslyle

SU2 is not the 800/900 - SU2 is the final patch for the 600/700. The 800/900 will be a different product that you will have to pay for - SU2 is free.Ryan

oh why thanks. also can you tell me what does the final patch(su2) do?regardslyle

The list is a very long one Lyle. It fixes outstanding issue with such things as engine shutoffs when running the center tank dry etc. There are also, amoung the many *fixes*, added new features throughtout most of the aircraft with the magority on the FMC and A/P. It also deals with cosmetics like the new MCP panel and Virtual cockpit. Very soon PMDG will post a list of changes excepted in SU2...Cheers, [h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. I hope we dont have to pay for it. If they charge another $40 for it, im not gonna buy it.

The 800-900 is NOT an upgrade, it's a NEW aircraft with NEW features. There is no price set for the package yet. Whether existing users of the 600-700 series will be able to buy at a reduced cost remains to be seen. So any guesses about pricing right now would be guesswork at best..[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J.
