December 13, 200322 yr HelloI have been working through Tim Metzinger's tutorial, trying to get airborne. I get everything set up as described, and hit the TO/GA screw, the aircraft reaches Vr and I just get off the runway and the engines cut out, and I am rather uncerimoniously dumped back on the runway(if there is any left). If I anticipate this happening and press f3 I can climb and gain speed, if I then engage the autopilot and LNAV and then VNAV I am subjected to a rollercoaster ride where the engines race up to about 96% N1 then they drop back to around 52% and then race up to 96% again. Has anyone any idea what is wrong?BestDudley Brooke
