December 16, 200322 yr hi,I get this which looks like some sort of code when ever I try to download SU2 (when the server is online for those brief periods)AndrewPs. sorry about all the compression but I tried to blur out the link even though I dought it would work if someone tried to use it.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/52942.jpg
December 16, 200322 yr Commercial Member What is happening here is that when you downloaded the files, you must have instructed your computer to "open" the file instead of "save" the file. What you are seeing is raw download data...Try downloading the file again, and make sure you save to a specific folder.VinPMDGwww.precisionmanuals.comhttp://www.vinscimone.com/dancnkid.gifhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/devteam.jpg Vin Scimone Precision Manuals Development Group www.precisionmanuals.com
December 16, 200322 yr Author hi,thanks,I must have somehow set IE to open files instead of downloading them and accidentally clicked the "dont show this window again" box so now It never gives me a choice as to wheather I want to open or save the file. I have no clue how to get it to ask me wheather I want to save or open the file.Andrew
December 16, 200322 yr Forgive me please if I am wrong, but I think you can *right click* the download button (or what ever button starts the downloading) and choose SAVE LINK TARGET AS and you will be able to tell it where to save etc..[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J.
