December 17, 200322 yr Not sure what im doing wrong here, upon advancing the throttles takeoff or any other time, i get the a loud beeping noise. It goes away after the gear is retracted...and doesnt come back until AFTER i have landed.Thrusting up for taxi speed causes the sound as well.what should I do...AND!!!!!!!! Does anyone know how to turn off the darn "FLYING TIPS" window ???ThanksHappy Holidays Peter Osborn
December 17, 200322 yr Hehe, flying tips are in the FS menu, cannot recall which menu page, but there are not many you will see a checkbox. Ummm sounds like you are not configured correctly for takeoff. Do you have FLAPS set? Check your flaps, autobrakes to RTO set TRIM according to the FMC TO page...[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J.
