Autoland

Featured Replies

HiI was wondering if the 737 has and autoland feature? The 777 has an auto land, and thought maybe the 737 did also.Jay

Jay,Set both Nav1 & 2 to the ILS freq, arm spoilers and set the autobrake. You will have manage flap settings and approach speed once down you will need to engage reverse thrust but apart from that the bird will fly itself on the runway. All this is described in the manual - RTFM.Good luck

just a question : what is the keys to arm spoilers, and to engage the reverse thrust on keyboard???thanks to answeringMartialLFST

Martial,The keys to operate spoilers and reversers are the standard FS keys. Check your key assignments in FS.Hope it helps,

For the spoiler, hold the 'Shift key' and press the ' / ' key at the same time. For Reverse thrust, press and hold the F2 key, to disengage, press the F1 key.Regards,Jack

The default 737-400 in FS 2004 has the autoland function too. Works exactly the same as the 737NG as I remembered.

ah sorry to disagree with your assumption sir but the NG's A/P is built from the ground up unlike many other add-ons that currently use the default A/P system. This A/P is truely unique ;-)[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smithhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/betaimg.jpg
