April 15, 200422 yr Hello everyone,Sorry if this has been asked before, but my searches turned up too many results to sort through easily.I finally have v1.2 running fine and would like to know the benefits of v1.3 before I install. Has anyone had any problems and what does is update? Thanks
April 15, 200422 yr The difference between 1.3 and 1.2 is actually pretty minor. Mostly some bugfixes, IIRC. I don't recall anyone having issues with upgrading to 1.3, so I suggest going ahead and doing it :D
April 15, 200422 yr Minor? I recall it being a bit more than minor while testing it![h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smithhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/betaimg.jpgAMD 64 3200+|ASUS KV8 DELUXE|GFORCE 5700 ULTRA|WD SATA 80 GIG|512 DDR 400| Randy J Smith
April 15, 200422 yr Commercial Member Here you go! I would suggest installing it. Not only does it fix/add features, but PMDG no longer supports versions below 1.3- Added an option in Styles menu for "Sounds allowed in External and VC View"(use this option to select your preference of sound modeling in VC view)- Fixed a bug with the EFIS keyboard handler whereby ND Mode and ND Range were not settable all the time- Fixed the position of the failed ALT box in the PFD- Corrected a true/magnetic problem with winds, so FMC winds should be ok- bearing distance with decimal distance resulted in blank SELECT DESIRED WPT page- DIRECT keyword now ignored in procedures- transitions and approaches etc. can have keywords (such as ALT) in their name- Corrects a bug in the flight model that would pass bogus information to FS9 under circumstances whereextreme flight control settings were input and maintained.- Corrects a bug that caused a crash if the user pressed FLY NOW before the navdata had been initialized.- Implemented a warning message for FSUIPC users who select "Inverse Elevator Trim Sense" to ON.
