Fuel Planner 1.3 Released

Featured Replies

The new Fuel Planner 1.3 now supporting the 737-800/900 has just been released. PMDG doesn't have it on their site right now, but you can download it directly from the creatorhttp://www.metacraft.com/737NGFP/Nick B.http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg--AMD Athlon XP 3200+ @ 2.25 Ghz (405 mhz FSB)Soyo VIA KT600 Dragon PlusnVidia GeForce FX 5200 128 mb2 x 512 PC400100 GB Western DigitalMicrosoft Sidewinder Precision 2

Thanks a bunch Nick. :)

Thank you Nick. I really appreciate your Fuel Planner. I never fly with out it.

Great!!!! Thanx!

Best regards, Fritz ESSONO

Sorry to make it sound like mine, but it's not. Ross Carlson made the first fuel planner for PMDG (which is on their website) and I notice he just released the fuel planner for the 800/900 which isn't on the PMDG sit at the time.Nick B.http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg--AMD Athlon XP 3200+ @ 2.25 Ghz (405 mhz FSB)Soyo VIA KT600 Dragon PlusnVidia GeForce FX 5200 128 mb2 x 512 PC400100 GB Western DigitalMicrosoft Sidewinder Precision 2

Thank you Ross, where ever you are right now :)

Many thanx :)Cheers

Ross is the man! Thanks :D

Thank you Ross. Very nice. I've come to rely on your fuel planner.

Thank you Ross! Really appreciate it. :)

This is funny. I was just about to post a thread announcing version 1.3, and I saw there already was one!?!? I didn't know I had a PR department. :) Thanks Nick.At some future date, I may update the planner to allow for arbitrary flight distances and cruise altitudes, but for now it still takes the data from the cruise fuel planning tables in the PMDG manual. Some combinations of cruise altitude and flight distance have no data in those tables, so if you try to choose those combinations, you'll get a pop-up error box. Those flights are outside the range of the aircraft anyway, or would result in requiring more fuel than the plane can hold, so it doesn't matter. :)Enjoy the planner folks, and let me know if you find any problems.

lol, I had no clue you were the creator. I would have waited for your official announcement, sorry about that.Nick B.http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg--AMD Athlon XP 3200+ @ 2.25 Ghz (405 mhz FSB)Soyo VIA KT600 Dragon PlusnVidia GeForce FX 5200 128 mb2 x 512 PC400100 GB Western DigitalMicrosoft Sidewinder Precision 2

G'day RossAny chance of you updating the program to allow for tailwinds so we won't have the landing weight problem with sectors involving strong tailwinds?Once again a nice update.ThanksDarren Howie

i second this. as everybody knows, pmdg implemented the opt/max cruise altitude into the updated FMC. along with this came better economical and new long range cruise calculations. is there a way to modify the fuel planner to take into account the higher cruise speed than the Mach 0.78 that it is based on? all of of curiosity of course.davidhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg
