Took these on the flight from KSAN-KABQ. Great ATC in SoCal. Is that a circling approach? My manual says circling approaches arent approved in the NG.

You know, I don't know what kind of an approach it is...it was listed as 'ILS08' in the FMC DEP ARR page. It was great fun to hand fly :)But you are right, I believe the real NG drivers we have on the beta team have said that circling approaches aren't authorized in the NG.

Hi FredCould you tell me what set of lighting textures you are using? Mine never look that nice. I only have the FS2004 standard one's. I am talking about the wing lights or the runway lights for example...Thanks in advanceMartin

Wow, that didn't take nearly as long as I thought. I downloaded airport_lighting.zip by Mark Poole (http://library-beta.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=46230), installed the texutres, and used the recommened light alterations in the readme. Make sure to put the alterations in the display section of the fs9.cfg(took me a while to figure that out).I don't know if the above lighting addon changes the airplane lights, but I doubt it.

Well FMC's can't be programmed for visual approaches, but I know they are flown in the NG.
